Renowned: The Morimoto Elite Systems have earned their reputation amongst many as the aftermarket's best set of HID's. We urge you to check out the specs below, read the reviews, and then ask yourself whether your ability to see well while driving at night is worth saving a couple bucks?
HID Ballasts: Designed in California by Morimoto's engineer, Yoshi Ishida, the Morimoto XB 2.0 HID Ballasts are just as good looking on the outside as they are well-engineered on the inside. They are available in both 35w and 50w versions, use proprietary software by the pros at Hylux paired with packaging perfection from the masters at Morimoto. This is today's most modern iteration of a model that has sold more than half a million units since inception, and we don't think it can really get any better!
XB HID Bulbs: Homegrown by Morimoto to out-perform any alternatives on the market when installed in fog lights--and it shows. We admit the latest generation XB HID are pretty impressive when compared to other bulbs, and even older Morimoto bulbs. At the heart of the XB bulbs is their perfectly-aligned 100% Philips quartz glass capsule that houses high quality halide salts from German-supplier Messer. In our annual lux comparison test, they produced nearly the same lumin Osity (intensity) as the industry benchmark Osram CBI bulbs at 5500K. No, you're not seeing things here, but yes you will be seeing everything at night.
Wire Harness: As one of the most important parts in any HID lighting upgrade; don't skimp out when it comes to your wiring. It doesn't matter how good your ballasts are. How good your bulbs are. If your harness is a piece of crap, when it gives out your fog lights are gonzo. Morimoto's harnesses are the best on the market and easily worth their premium price compared to cheaper alternatives. No matter which one is right for your application, the harness features triple-sealed central relay packs, 14ga stranded copper wiring, over-molded fittings, and plug-n-play functionality. This will ensure everything properly (and permanently) works with your vehicle's original in-cabin controls.
Optional Canbus Harnesses: Instead of a traditional relayed harness that draws power from the battery, Morimoto's Standalone Canbus harnesses use two individual sub-harnesses to keep a load on the factory wiring. Recommended for vehicles that recognize when a bulb is out, these contain a series of capacitors and resistors to trick the car into thinking nothing has changed and help you avoid annoying "bulb out" warnings. We generally recommend them for use on most modern European applications instead of normal harnesses since they do a great job at providing stable power to the ballasts and canceling any warnings.
Backed Up: Let's not forget the 5-year warranty on the entire kit*. The Elite system is designed to run for 2500 hours, so that's what it's guaranteed for. Don't buy into empty promises from other places offering BS "lifetime" warranties. Nothing lasts forever, and if you think "the other guy" will be there to pick up the phone or even stay in business long enough to assist you when there's a problem; guess again! [*XB55 880 HID kits have a 3 year warranty]
User-Approved: By satisfied enthusiasts with all kinds of cars and trucks. With a quick and easy search we pulled up install examples (1,2,3,4,5,6) that span several generations of the Elite HID systems! If you haven't made a decision just yet, keep reading!

Happy Satify Customer
After playing with LEDs on my 18 civic hatch, I wanted more , more brightness down the road i used to get shadows even with good brand quality LEDs . After doing research and being hesitant to go HID i was no.sure on wether to make the choice or not . But finally purchase my Morimoto HID lite kit . I took 4 hrs to install it was easy but it was my first HID kit i purchase and install hide the wiring real good . The difference was outstanding no LEDs could match the beam pattern of my HID kit , no shadows and it was 2x brighter . Dont hesitate searching more i been a happy customer if TRS and been happy purchasing from them . I trust them
I was hesitant beetween getting HIDs kit or keep playing the same LEDs . After some research and recomendations on the civicx forum i decided to install my first HID kit wich go great. Really happy with my Morimoto HID lite kit
Got the h11 5k 35w for my Yukon 2017
Really easy to install and customer service was a big help
Excellent customer service
I had a bit of a problem that I created when installing these lights in my Chevy Colorado. In that process one of my bulbs broke due to my own error. The retro fit source helped me out immediately and helped me to get the bulb replaced under warranty!
Easiest installation ever!!!! All of the parts are of the highest quality. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this system.
H11b Morimoto Elite HID 35w canbus kit - 2020 Ford Fusion
I started shopping for some lights for my new 2020 Fusion since Ford keeps using dim, crappy headlights in their vehicles. I tried a few other companies' HID kits and neither performed the way I wanted. One company has awesome customer support but their products are terrible. The other company has decent products and their customer support isn't bad but they sent the wrong bulbs.
TRS has superb customer support and respond quick to emails. I ordered the H11b Morimoto Elite HID kit with 35w ballasts and 35w bulbs with the canbus adapters. Both factory connectors are connected to the canbus adapters and then to the ballasts and finally to the bulbs. They do not flicker and come on and stay on every time. They are very bright and have an awesome, pure white color and wow, the beam pattern out of my projector headlight housings is phenomenal. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that LEDs just aren't a good match for projector housings.
Order this kit - you won't be sorry!
These lights are top notch!!
I purchased the 50W ballast with the 6500k bulb for my 2020 Toyota Tacoma. Though the 50W ballast makes the bulbs actually 5500k. They are super bright and installation was easy. Look forward to purchasing more of TRS product in the future! Two thumbs up!
There are a lot
There are a lot of hids out there but you certainly won't find something at top quality and at this price. I've bought all brands of hids before and these kits are by far superior.
This system is
This system is outstanding! I just installed it my 2013 Fusion, and the performance is leaps and bounds above any HID kit I have owned before. I contacted TRS and had a custom order set up based on their expertise around the Fusion's picky headlight system. It consisted of a wiring harness, a single Can-bus harness (installed between the stock wiring and the relay harness), the 35w ballasts, and the XB35 5000k bulbs. It was incredibly easy to install once the bumper was taken off. The bulbs install with the return wire facing the bottom of the projector, eliminating any shadow in the output. You can see examples of people having problems with this on multiple forums. If you want a top notch PnP system that is more then acceptable, without a complete retrofit, TRS system above is the way to go. I hope this helps a lot of people.
I took the hit
I took the hit by ordering the 4300K XB35 H11 50w hids. I know everything about hids and retrofits and i got nervous in case this would melt my housings. I got the shipment a little late but that was ups fault not trs. People wonder if the steroid version h11 bulbs are worth it, they think only the wires are different color but hell no. When i took these out of the box i thought there were d2s bulbs untill i saw the base, I put them in and boy there is a big difference. Way better spread out output, its a good thing the burner was facing the bottom of the headlight because it reduces glare, but with these bulbs for some odd reason i have absolutely NO glare. I had to no matter get 4300l because other kelvins make me lose my beam pattern which puts out more glare then light infront of me. Thanks for lighting up my roads and not my signs trs!
