Renowned: The Morimoto Elite Systems have earned their reputation amongst many as the aftermarket's best set of HID's. We urge you to check out the specs below, read the reviews, and then ask yourself whether your ability to see well while driving at night is worth saving a couple bucks?
HID Ballasts: Designed in California by Morimoto's engineer, Yoshi Ishida, the Morimoto XB 2.0 HID Ballasts are just as good looking on the outside as they are well-engineered on the inside. They are available in both 35w and 50w versions, use proprietary software by the pros at Hylux paired with packaging perfection from the masters at Morimoto. This is today's most modern iteration of a model that has sold more than half a million units since inception, and we don't think it can really get any better!
XB HID Bulbs: Homegrown by Morimoto to out-perform any alternatives on the market when installed in fog lights--and it shows. We admit the latest generation XB HID are pretty impressive when compared to other bulbs, and even older Morimoto bulbs. At the heart of the XB bulbs is their perfectly-aligned 100% Philips quartz glass capsule that houses high quality halide salts from German-supplier Messer. In our annual lux comparison test, they produced nearly the same luminosity (intensity) as the industry benchmark Osram CBI bulbs at 5500K. No, you're not seeing things here, but yes you will be seeing everything at night.
Wire Harness: As one of the most important parts in any HID lighting upgrade; don't skimp out when it comes to your wiring. It doesn't matter how good your ballasts are. How good your bulbs are. If your harness is a piece of crap, when it gives out your fog lights are gonzo. Morimoto's harnesses are the best on the market and easily worth their premium price compared to cheaper alternatives. No matter which one is right for your application, the harness features triple-sealed central relay packs, 14ga stranded copper wiring, over-molded fittings, and plug-n-play functionality. This will ensure everything properly (and permanently) works with your vehicle's original in-cabin controls.
Optional Canbus Harnesses: Instead of a traditional relayed harness that draws power from the battery, Morimoto's Standalone Canbus harnesses use two individual sub-harnesses to keep a load on the factory wiring. Recommended for vehicles that recognize when a bulb is out, these contain a series of capacitors and resistors to trick the car into thinking nothing has changed and help you avoid annoying "bulb out" warnings. We generally recommend them for use on most modern European applications instead of normal harnesses since they do a great job at providing stable power to the ballasts and canceling any warnings.
Backed Up: Let's not forget the 5-year warranty on the entire kit*. The Elite system is designed to run for 2500 hours, so that's what it's guaranteed for. Don't buy into empty promises from other places offering BS "lifetime" warranties. Nothing lasts forever, and if you think "the other guy" will be there to pick up the phone or even stay in business long enough to assist you when there's a problem; guess again! Best HID bulbs and amazing customer service

Bought this set to replace the burnt out bulbs I had. If the old bulbs are any kind of testimonial to the quality of these, they lasted for over 5 years. Unfortunately, one of the bulbs arrived damaged. Not a problem though, a quick call to TRS and I had a new bulb sent to me in 2 days without having to worry about sending the broken one back. Highly recommend the 6500k 50w system if you want to match the color of and LED bulbs you might have or be thinking of installing.

Wow! Amazed with the quality of the TRS product! The installation was Really simple!!! Andrew was guiding me in choosing the right type of bulbs and ballasts for my head lights and even suggested getting "pass-throughs" which also eased the installation process. Great customer service TRS!!! And Great quality product!!!! The price is fair for this quality product! The light output and the quality of bulbs is amazing! Ballasts are soooooo quiet I was even astonished!!! No "bulb out" error on the dashboard! I compared the quality of the bulb (light color and cut-off line) to my friends cheap kit he got off ebay. It's like heaven and hell! My TRS kit had a bright 5000K focused light output and a clear cut-off line. My friend's light was scattered, of weird blue color (though he had 5000K), had a weird cut-off line, and noisy ballasts... The shipping was super fast , though my wiring harness was on a back order. I don't regret spending couple days waiting! This kit just stricken me!!! Next, I'm planning on doing xb LEDs and Gatling gun projectors to stand out!!!! Good job TRS guys! Keep up the good work!!! Awesome lighting system. I purchased the Mini H1 Bi-Xenon projectors with this HID kit & it kicks but. Talked with Andrew @ TRS and he hooked me up & got me what I needed. Had 1 little hiccup but I called him & got me squared away real quick. If you want HIDs on your ride & want to keep the total cost down, I recommend the Morimoto 3Five Mini H1 set-up. This was my first retrofit & I started on Saturday & finished it on Sunday. Great product & great people. 4 thumbs up!

This was my first time installing HID's and needless to say that the person I talked to, I think his name is Ander helped me out a lot. Shipping was extremely fast and the product was of great heavy duty quality. I got them installed in about 2 hours, got sunburnt in the process, but they are soo bright and have very nice color to them. Now all I have to do is adjust my headlights straight. Anyways, you have a customer for life!

Can't believe that Lexus sold LX470's with H1 as headlights!!.
Switched over to the H1: Morimoto Elite HID System and love it.
The headlights are better than the 4 Hella Driving lights (mounted on my ARB) linked to my High beams.
Went onto the back roads last night and checked out the new set up, wow!! Then turned on the 4 Hella's and High beams......guess what? Not much more light was added! So all the money spend on the Hella Driving lights for off-roading was totally wasted.
Now planning on changing the fogs on my sedan to a retrofit kit. Cant wait. The kit is so easy to install and comes with everything that anyone can do the conversion in very little time and with very little effort.

This kit is truly amazing and performs with excellent quality. The feel of the components alone scream precision and expert craftsmanship. I have a 2010 VW MK5.5 and the Can-Bus adaptors that come as an option were a blessing in and of themselves! No more bulb out, no flickering, NOTHING! I went through numerous 'fixes' and I still had problems, but these simple 'plug n play' connectors made them perform just as though they were truly OEM components. This kit is simply amazing!!!

A little background: I purchased a set of projectors for my 13 F150. They came with dim, yellow, cheap H1 halogens. Daytime look was GREAT. Night was terrible. It was like two little candles in those things. I purchased the TRS 5500K 35W H1 kit with the motocontrol for the H13 harness on the truck. Man, what a difference! Warm up time is fast too!! It took me about 3 hours to do this job, only because I had to remove old wiring from the housings before doing the actual install. But, it was simple, and to the point. Keep up the good job guys!

This kit was the icing on the cake for my projector retrofit! Bulbs warm up quickly and are the same color temp. Wiring was a breeze and the braided sleeves make them look so much better while also adding more protection! Much better than cheap Amazon kits. Thank you TRS!

Beats the crap out of eBay

If you're here you've probably owned a set of eBay plug and play hid's. You know where one bulb is sort of white, and the other kind of pink. Stop wasting your money on that junk. There is a huge difference. These 35w kits put out more light than their 55w. The bulb colors are correct, and I can here radio stations again. Everything is built to last, and comes with a REAL warranty. Worth every penny.
