Morimoto: Has always been our go-to-guys when it came to HID, and when they released their line of LED products, we had our doubts. Performance left a little to be desired compared to some of the more refined models on the market. BUT (and that's a big BUT) that has since changed with the much more mature, refined second generations of each model they offer. While in all-honesty Morimoto didn't exactly nail it the first time around on the LED bulbs, what we have from them today is about as modern as it gets and much more in-line with the quality and performance we've all come to expect from the brand.
So What's new with Version Two?Basically everything except the name, really. Now using their "Hybrid LED" system that was made famous by the XSB 2.0 halos and strips, the new XB LED Festoon bulbs are A) super reliable (we've yet to see one fail), B) have an excellent 5500K white color, and C) much better consistency due to the LED chips. They also got rid of the cool-looking, but awkward to install "X" shaped contacts and replaced them with a new rose-gold cone-type contact...much better. We dig it!
Construction: The LED Festoon bulb is constructed with a fiberglass PCB and rose gold-colored dimpled end caps. Unique? Very!
Cooler: Heat management is crucial for reliability when it comes to LEDs. The Morimoto XB LED bulbs' panel and resistors are mounted opposite the extruded aluminum heat-sink, which is styled according to the profile of the rising sun in the Morimoto logo. It really doesn't get much cooler than this! (pun intended)
Can-bus: The Morimoto XB LED bulbs are can-bus friendly and should not cause any "lamp out" errors in MOST applications. We've sold em to guys with everything from Honda's and Toyota's to Euro's like VW and Mercedes without any complaints - so we feel confident in recommending the LED Festoon bulbs for most every application.

2011 Chevy Avalanche Dome Lighting
by Jeff Gardner
For years, I have been experimenting with interior LED bulbs that produce enough light, and the proper color. Although I found some, I really didn't like the hint of blue (6000K) in the lights. Like my headlights, I want a crisp, clean, brilliant WHITE light out ahead of me as well as inside the cab. The Morimoto XB LED 2.0's are just what I was looking for. I enjoy remotely unlocking my truck from a distance, at night, when approaching it, so I can see it illuminate the interior with a beautiful, crisp, intense, brilliant white light. If you're looking for "bright & white" your search ends here with the XB LED 2.0.

Best festoon bulbs
by Daniel
I have always used philips and sylvania led bulbs for my car. I have a 2015 wrx and had Phillips in the futon and the sylvania in the back. I couldn't find the Phillips xtreme bulbs anymore to replace the syvannia. I purchased a really bright bulb from pepboys. Super bringht but was just a panel with an adapter. Although that bulb was super bright, the light was too saturated, I installed this bulb and it is just perfect. Gives me the output I want without the saturation. The from Phillips bulbs aren't that much less bright but I am going to replace them anyways with this. These are just too good to be true.
Fabulous in an 09 Civic Sedan

These bulbs have completely revolutionized the interior of my car. I was stunned to see how bright they are and the color is fabulous. I would definitely recommend these bulbs.
Ford Edge Trunk Light
by Cody
I installed this in the trunk light of my 2008 Ford Edge. It is incredibly bright and is pure white in color. It looks great and the light output really helps at night. I have an LED in there before from eBay and the output was decent but had a blueish tint to the light. This is by far better than any bulb you can get for $5 or cheaper. Spend the extra $10 and get a high quality bulb with great output.
Far brighter than I expected!

I bought some LED interior bulbs for my Silverado from Sylvania last week and wasn't impressed at all. These are easily 3x brighter. In fact, they're so bright, I had to rotate them to point up into the reflector to reduce the overall output. Truck uses 4 total and lit the entire interior evenly. My girlfriend said it's bright enough to do forensics. Seriously these are amazing.
Holy Daylight!
by Edward Stockwell
upgraded the interior bulbs front/back in a '12 F150 - total night/day transformation. (almost too bright, but I like it) recommend!
It works on my GTI!
by Matt Olson
I bought a pair of LED bulbs from a local auto parts store and had no luck getting them to light my license plate. I turned the bulb around as suggested by the store employee, no light! I've had good luck with the T10 bulb from TRF knowing if there was an issue, TRF would solve it. Sure enough, fired up right away without any error code.
Interior Light Corolla 2012
by Demasti
Comparing these to the Philips 31mm 6000K DE3175 LED Festoon Bulb, I found them to be a little brighter, however they had a hint of purple, but that wasn't enough for me to return. Very happy with my purchase.
the ends.

really nice and bright, lots of light in the truck, but im frustrated with the copper ends. seems like you have to have just right to make a proper electrical connection. ill be wrapping the ends with thin copper wire, so it makes a complete connection at any angle the light is pointed. for reference, i installed it in a 2003 f150, dome light. i will say, if you want light, this is what i would buy. i have bought others from other websites, but no comparison.
