DESCRIPTION
Bi-Xenon Projectors: The ACME projectors may be inexpensive, but they really do deliver real performance at the right price. Here, their standard bi-xenon projectors come standard with a clear lens and a curved cutoff shield to produce a wide, bright, and respectably sharp beam pattern. Based on older Morimoto designs, they may not be the cream of the crop by today's standards--but that doesn't mean they can't hold their own. For the price we really can't argue otherwise, and besides; unless you're a real headlight nerd like us you probably wont notice the difference that spending twice would deliver down the road anyways.
ACME 35w SpeedyStart Ballasts: Speedy Gonzales has nothin' on the ACME SpeedyStart 35w ballasts when it comes to warm up time. These go zero to full intensity in just 3.5 seconds! So good in fact that we've discontinued the once popular "FastBright" ballasts in their favor. Their external igniters and high voltage wiring is shielded to help mitigate EMI interference (radio static) so it's unlikely that these ballasts will disturb your afternoon rock block! They may not have some of the bells, whistles, or warranty that the more expensive options offer, but they certainly check the box when it comes to bang for the buck.
ACME H1 Bulbs: Are no joke. Precise alignment, accurate color temps, and ultra-low failure rate. They truly are the standard others strive for!
Wire Harness: As one of the most important parts in any HID lighting upgrade; don't skimp out when it comes to your wiring. It doesn't matter how good your ballasts are. How good your bulbs are. If your harness is a piece of crap, when it gives out your headlights are gonzo. Morimoto's harnesses are the best on the market and easily worth their premium price compared to cheaper alternatives. No matter which one is right for your application, the harness features triple-sealed central relay packs, 14ga stranded copper wiring, over-molded fittings, and plug-n-play functionality. This will ensure everything properly (and permanently) works with your vehicle's original in-cabin controls.
Optional Canbus Harnesses: Instead of a traditional relayed harness that draws power from the battery, Morimoto's Standalone Canbus harnesses use two individual sub-harnesses to keep a load on the factory wiring. Recommended for vehicles that recognize when a bulb is out, these contain a series of capacitors and resistors to trick the car into thinking nothing has changed and help you avoid annoying "bulb out" warnings. We generally recommend them for use on most modern European applications instead of normal harnesses since they do a great job at providing stable power to the ballasts and canceling bulb out warnings.
Optional Precision Bulb Holders: Designed by Morimoto in California, the new MotoHo1der utilizes a three-piece design that's way more effective but virtually no bigger overall than the old clip setup. The clever three-piece design provides even pressure on the back of the bulb, ensuring perfect alignment. To be honest, we think it's the single best upgrade to the projector that's ever been conceived since it helps make the most of the awesome 7.0's on the road. Well worth the extra few bucks in the grand scheme of things!
Optional LED Halos: Though LED halos may not be for everybody, if you're looking for the cleanest, most simple, most reliable setup, we highly recommend the Profile Performance Pivot Halos. Not only are they the brightest, most uniformly lit halos currently on the market, but they double as a switchback turn signal with your blinker circuit. The integrated controllers are extremely easy to setup with only three wires (white, amber, and ground) and allow you to run the white mode continuously until interrupted by the signal äóñ at which point they will blink amber. Once the signal stops, the Pivot ring will automatically switch back to its pure white mode.
Optional Housing Sealant: Protection is priceless! When you're putting together a set of high-end headlights, the last thing you want is moisture in 'em the first time it rains outside. RetroRubber is the most effective way to make sure the original seal is fully restored. For the small price, why anybody wouldn't prevent their new headlights from fogging up is beyond us. It'll be the best twelve bucks you've ever spent.

Amazing

This kit has blown me away on my 94 Delsol. Install went easy with my previous knowledge of retrofitting. Veryyyy worth the money.
Great Starter HID Kit
by Weston -
This is a fantastic entry to the retrofit game and these perform well when setup right. Comes with everything you need, but make sure that you have all the wiring accessories you need. Mine didnt come with high beam splitters so those will need to be ordered separately.
If anything I have to criticize its the response time for customer service. I shouldn't have to wait a week or more to get a response to a question or start a return/exchange. Busyness in the summer I understand, but have a dedicated customer service tech.
Would recommend RFS either way
VERY GOOD

Simplistic

This isn't my first retro with the Acme standard H1's but I always forget how enjoyable these are to install. They are so simple to install and modify. It's always a refreshing reminder of how fun retrofitting should be.
I figured I would upload a picture of the finished product. These were installed in a 2002 Ford F250 with factory replacement headlight housings. If you look closely along the edges of cut-off, the color flikr is maintained well across the entire width of cut off.
Great Product!

Absolutely impressed.
by JOHN DICKINSON
I bought the Acme Supers to install on my 2001 4Runner. I opted to use the threaded mount to make install a breeze. Once installed and aligned the output on them was absolutely night and day between the stock halogens and this budget HID kit. The cutoff on my Driver side projector is a bit soft so the lens probably needs to be shimmed a bit but its not that bad. I will be doing another HID upgrade on my 2000 4Runner but will probably get a little more involved with this next Retrofit. I would absolutely recommend these projectors if you're looking for a good budget friendly HID Retrofit.
Best bang for your buck
by Sam Ritchie
I love them. The price is just right for someone not wanting to spend huge bucks on some of the others. The light output is very bright and very fast to turn on and switch from low to high beam. I would buy these again and recommend them to anyone. I installed these on my 03 f150.
Awesome

I installed the 35 Watt Acme Super H1 4300K kit on my 2006 Jeep Liberty. Install from start to finish including some test driving took 2 hours. I didn't think the lighting was all that bad on my Jeep until I took it out on the road with this setup. WOW! It absolutely destroys my 2008 GMC Acadia's stock HID running 5500K Morimoto bulbs. These are very wide to the point my fog lights are irrelevant. The beam pattern is very good. I don't have any shadows or dark spots like the OEM setup from GM. High Beam is also great. The only complaint I could have is that the step is a bit much. I feel I may be blinding people on the side of the road. Overall I highly recommend this setup.
Couldn't be more pleased

Retrofitted into a class-A motor-home that sourced mid 90's Ford Pickup head light assemblies. Couldn't be more pleased with the ease of installation and end results. Well done TRS!!
