No Comparison: When it comes to HID bulbs, Morimoto has always brought us the best in the aftermarket, and their latest examples are no exception. Sure we think the options from Philips and Osram are great too, but when it comes to bang for the buck - nothing compares to the Morimoto XB HID lineup. Compatible with 35W and 55W: The XB's will produce more lumens, last longer, project farther, and look better doing it.
Lumin Osity: At the heart of the XB D4S bulbs is their perfectly aligned 100% Philips quartz glass that houses a capsule from APL-USA. Using high quality halide salts from German-supplier Messer; the bulbs produce nearly the same lumin Osity (intensity) as the amazing Osram CBI bulbs at 5500K. No, you're not seeing things here, but yes you will be seeing everything at night. In our Comparison to the big brands; Morimoto's XB capsule ran with the best of em!
Long Life: The Austrian-sourced Plansee electrodes help keep the bulbs running brighter for longer. In comparison to a Philips bulb with 200 hours of use; the Morimoto will maintain 83% of it's intensity whereas the Philips bulb will retain 86%. Yeah, the Philips maintains a little longer, but this kind of longevity is unheard of in the aftermarket. We're impressed!
Precise Alignment: Morimoto's Symmetry-Structure frame surrounds the base of the glass capsule keeping everything properly lined up, which is paramount when it comes to HID bulbs. In the past we all agreed that precision wasn't the strong suit for the XB bulbs... But the latest are indeed the greatest - and they're now consistently well-aligned, which is a good thing - because it means the output is also consistently bright and uniform throughout. [Applause]
Reliability: Not that we recommend this for any HID bulb, but go ahead and fire it up 100 times in a row or even run it underwater for days at a time and the difference between the XB and any so called "competition" will be clear. These bulbs will even work with OEM Nissan/Infiniti (Matsushita/Panasonic) ballasts, which are notorious for compatibility problems on anything aftermarket.
Compliance: The XB replacement HID bulbs are built to industry-standard specifications and meet/exceed all SAE, DOT, and ECE requirements, making them a perfect match for a replacement bulb or upgrade! They have been tested for reliability with all ballasts from Morimoto, Denso, Hella, Bosch, and Koito and passed with ease.

5500K- True Bright White
by Curt
Purchased these for my 2008 Lexus GS 350 in 5500k. Output is amazing and a true bright white. They cover more ground then any other HID bulbs I've used in the past. not too mention the price very reasonable for quality.

Bulbs better than stock Phillips, but not perfect
by Dean
Purchased 2 of these in 2012 and they worked better than original Philips HID bulbs in my Prius. I am supposed to use D4R bulbs which apparently provide glare protection but I found the lighting on these to be acceptable, and in fact much better than the stock bulbs. Now 24 months in to use one of them is constantly shutting off. I shut light switch off to restart them both again and sometimes it works succesfully and other times i have to switch off and on about 5 times to get them both to stay on. Rather frustrating, but I think its just D4S systems in general.

Bought some cheapo D4S off ebay around a year ago and one is already out. Replaced both bulbs with these Morimoto's and so far so good. Bought the 5000K and they are very bright. Solid purchase. Rolling the dice on longevity but for $60 can't beat it.
Purchased set of 4500k & set of 5500k
by Sipaseut Maomanivong
Fittings for 2008 Lexus ISF-I wanted to try something new, brighter perhaps more lumens etc. 1st set:4500k slightly brighter than stock, beam pattern was good, projection distance feel like they didn’t travel as far, they felt like a brand new set of HALOGENS practical but no character, I wanted at least look like sylvania silver stars but more intensity, runtime 1 week. 2nd set:5500k expected really bright white/pure white (something in the whiter range) with hint of blue etc due to k-scale, like the advertisements stated but these are more on the very light Green/Teal/Aquamarine, it’s looks white if your staring at it up close whatever the case it really FUGLY! I was more embarrassed sporting these on my modded ISF so I removed them, runtime on these 1week. Beam pattern was good, beam intensity/travel distance was less than the 4500k. Both operated good no flickering etc, can’t say anything for the longevity yet. (clean bulbs, use gloves and don’t touch bulb etc got it) As for price these are great, good replacement for stock perhaps. I ended up using the 4500k debating going back to stock if they blow. Will I purchase these again NO WAY!! But I definitely wouldnt hesitate to give TRS more business again soon, they have good service and reputation. Saving my $$$ for the higher price set and save me the headache. Sorry for ranting being honest, thanks.
look way better than stock

My outlander gt says d2s but they really take d4s and for 60.00 bucks this is a much better value than spending 185.00 for the same bulb. Plus these are a bright white light just like I wanted and so far so good i will only come here for replacement if ever needed.
