No Comparison: When it comes to HID bulbs, Morimoto has always brought us the best in the aftermarket, and their latest examples are no exception. Sure we think the options from Philips and Osram are great too, but when it comes to bang for the buck - nothing compares to the Morimoto XB HID lineup. Available in versions designed specifically for either 35W or 50W: The XB's will produce more lumens, last longer, project farther, and look better doing it.
Luminosity: At the heart of the XB D2S bulbs is their perfectly aligned 100% Philips quartz glass that houses a capsule from APL-USA. Using high quality halide salts from German-supplier Messer; the bulbs produce nearly the same luminosity (intensity) as the amazing Osram CBI bulbs at 5500K. No, you're not seeing things here, but yes you will be seeing everything at night. In our Comparison to the big brands; Morimoto's XB capsule ran with the best of em!
Long Life: The Austrian-sourced Plansee electrodes help keep the bulbs running brighter for longer. In comparison to a Philips bulb with 200 hours of use; the Morimoto will maintain 83% of it's intensity whereas the Philips bulb will retain 86%. Yeah, the Philips maintains a little longer, but this kind of longevity is unheard of in the aftermarket. We're impressed!
Precise Alignment: Morimoto's Symmetry-Structure frame surrounds the base of the glass capsule keeping everything properly lined up, which is paramount when it comes to HID bulbs. In the past we all agreed that precision wasn't the strong suit for the XB bulbs... But the latest are indeed the greatest - and they're now consistently well-aligned, which is a good thing - because it means the output is also consistently bright and uniform throughout. [Applause]
Reliability: Not that we recommend this for any HID bulb, but go ahead and fire it up 100 times in a row or even run it underwater for days at a time and the difference between the XB and any so called "competition" will be clear. These bulbs will even work with OEM Nissan/Infiniti (Matsushita/Panasonic) ballasts, which are notorious for compatibility problems on anything aftermarket.
Compliance: The XB replacement HID bulbs are built to industry-standard specifications and meet/exceed all SAE, DOT, and ECE requirements, making them a perfect match for a replacement bulb or upgrade! They have been tested for reliability with all ballasts from Morimoto, Denso, Hella, Bosch, and Koito and passed with ease.

I got these bulbs for my 2009 Acura TSX and let me tell you..... WOW! That's all I can say.... The amount of clean and bright light is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. The factory 4300K are dull and yellow, but do light a good amount of the road ahead. I bought a 8000K bulb to replace the factory bulbs and it was a nice blue, but the distance it brighten wasn't enough. These are perfect at 5000K!!! Good distance, nice clean white light, doesn't blind oncoming traffic. and does a great job lighting in front and around the car. I'm absolutely happy and my neighbor is also going to order these because he was just shocked by how much better these where then his 6000K from another manufacture. Best HID light I've ever seen!

I bought these bulbs for my 2014 Infiniti Q60 coupe. I have done some research and if you have a 2012 G37/Q60 or up you may have trouble with aftermarket HID bulbs which I did. The headlight lighting system do not work well with many aftermarket/cheap bulbs, they will flicker and shut off. I found out about the Retrofit Source website and found these D2S Morimoto XB35 bulbs and I can confirm that these will work with your G37/Q60 coupe. They look great I am happy with the purchase, great price too.

I bought 5500K for Oem replacement for My 2005 TL. So for i am very impressed with the light output and the bulbs itself feel well built and high quality. If you are on tight budget and looking for good hid bulbs Morimoto D2S is the way to go. I would recommend these Hid. I wish i could post the pictures with the review.

Great Bulbs

Have a Infiniti G37 which comes with OEM Phillips 85122+ HIDs and while the output was great, the color I wanted was lacking. I decided to order the 6500K XB35 bulbs from TRS and couldn't be happier with the color. It has a pure white with a tinge of blue (much like some LED headlights on the road today even though most of them are rated at 5500K guessing because of their color band). The output on the road is great, there is a ever so slightly noticeable drop in output as expected going up to a higher K but not dramatic and the bulbs light up the road great with what to my eyes look like the same beam pattern as with the OEM Phillips bulbs. Overall great bulb and well worth the money.

Good all around bulb for the price! You can't beat the value and light output on these. I've been running them in my 14+ Tundra (MM Mini 3.0) for 1.5 years on 35w ballast, with no issues. 5500K is a great look, with all white beam pattern. I would highly recommend these, unless you are looking to purchase bulbs above $100+ price point.

Order this (6500k) bulbs on november 12 they arrive on the 19th for my 2011 mitsu out sport ..first week i was very happy with the performance and the color of the bulbs (just like leds) but almost a month after (driving at 4:45 am ) i start noticing a flicker on the right side ...that same day at night the left side start to flicker also.

Ordered these for my girlfriends Legacy. As they only cost $50, I didn't have 100% expectations. But when they arrived they seemed just as good build quality as my Osram CBI that i have on my BMW.
After I mounted and tested them, I'm pretty impressed!
