INSTALLATION DOCUMENTS
Profile Performance: The automotive aftermarket's best name in LED Lighting; and there's nothing better than some badass high beam LED headlights. While there's nothing wrong with your halogen high beam bulbs, or a set of bi-xenon/Bi-LED projectors, overkill is under-rated, and that's why we're giving two thumbs up to the new second generation high beam projector from Profile Performance.
Well-Done: The Profile Hi-Lens projector is plenty bright.it's basically a miniature LED light bar / spot light that's designed to fit in your high beam reflector with ease. With their advanced optics, powerful LEDs, and multi-lens projector, they look as good as they work too!
Gen II: While nobody complained about the looks or performance out of the original version, the plastic construction left a little something to be desired. Profile has upped the ante with a housing that's now made entirely out of cast aluminum for more strength, optimized the light output, and added an RGBW version to the family!
White or RGBW: The standard model has an integrated white LED demon eye that works perfectly as a daytime running light. If you are looking for more, then go for the RGBW version, which works seamlessly with all other Profile Performance RGB accessories. The RGBW version is capable of producing a perfectly white DRL, and also has the integrated amber switchback turn signal feature too. Drool!
Easy Install: The Hi-Lens features a threaded-shaft style mount on the back that allows the projectors to be locked on with their included hardware, and minimal modifications to your headlight. Best part is that the threaded shaft is about twice as long as what you would normally find on something like a Mini H1 projector, making it even easier to install across the board. That's winning!
Shrouds: Conveniently, the Profile Hi-Lens LED projector is compatible with most every existing shroud on the market except for the "Mini" series. If they've got a flange inside to accept a centric ring, you should be able to snap them right onto the bezel on the front face of the Hi-Lens. Love it!

Great..while it lasted
by John
In my application it took a little time to get the beam adjusted appropriately but once set it worked well...for about 10 months. I just noticed yesterday that one had burned out. Won't be buying a replacement.
A true spot light
by Lucas
I received a set for a high beam retro. I got the DRL model. The DRL was very dim. But the high, wow. Literally a mile down the road if more. The beam/square is very small but expands with more distance. Don’t let the picture in the warehouse above fool
you. I decided to open up the back shell by the 4 screws. I was having a problem with my vehicle being a grounding circuit system, which I wouldn’t be able to use the high or DRL without them both being on or one not wired. With some testing of the light with the back off found the power and ground for the DRL. If I bypassed the ground going back to the board the DRL was much brighter. So I cut the wire at the board and ran an extra wire out of the shaft. So now I have a high +&- and a DRL +&- I know this probably voids warranty but don’t see a issue in the long run. This mod is like the chip flip for morimoto m led 1.0. Picture is light in DRL mode.
Was expecting better
by Eric
Regarding the comments i was expecting more light. Adjusting the beam according to the MLED 2.0 was a bit tricky on my housing but the result is great! I just thought that it would have lighted further as it's a very concentrated beam compared to a regular high beams. The 75W HID in the reflector housing of my other car is way more bright and enlightens way further but overall they's good for the size!
Absolutely Phenomenal
by Mike Lin
Bought these mostly for the looks, and wasn't expecting too much in terms of performance as I already had a D2S bixenon setup as my low/high beams. Man was I wrong. Looks even better than I imagined and the output is...well...lit af. Can't attach a picture here but the output from these goes as far as the eye can see. Clean, white light that i'd guess is between 5000K and 6000K (similar temp to my 5500K xenon setup) with a very intense hotspot and focused beam. Just the glare off road signs alone is enough to blind you should you look right at them. Highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their high beams to something more substantial than halogens or PNP LED's. Definitely a unique product too as I haven't seen many other dedicated high beam projectors. As if it wasn't already clear enough, these are definitely *for high beam use only* unless you want to be the most hated driver on the street.

Installed these in my 00 ZR2 Blazer. Wow, unbelievable improvement.
BETTER THAN EXPECTED
by Kyle Bowden
I bought these to supplement the set of low-beam HID projectors retrofitted in my wife's Expedition and replace the factory halogen reflector high beams. I did not expect too much, as my research showed the light output wasn't all that high, but I was thoroughly impressed. These were much brighter than I was prepared for them to be, and all the light is focused tightly enough to make them exceptional as high beams. The output numbers are deceiving in my opinion, as they don't really translate that the light carries really well and much further than the halogens did. They may not be as good as a set of bi-xenons would be, but they serve their function really well. I intend to add these to the bi-xenon retrofits in my Expedition now as an additional high beam.
The light color is definitely fairly high on the scale, more like a 6000K than a 5000K, and the blue around the edges of the beam is easily discerned. Would have been a little happier with a 5000K color throughout, but it doesn't degrade their performance.
Pretty impressive for leds

I put these in my wife's fog lights on her chrysler aspen and they fit absolutely perfect and were way brighter and better than the hid kit I had in there before. I love the distance she gets now, instead of having to hit the high beams she has options depending on the conditions. Low, high, and low and long distance fogs. Excellent product I will be buying again.
