This Kit used to have the Carbide Series bulbs: and has been upgraded to the New Armor Series Bulbs. As part of our Tundra Video Series we showed viewers how to install LED Turn signal bulbs in the front of their 2014-2017 Toyota Tundra. We supply only the highest quality products from GTR Lighting so you won't have any headaches and it will last a long time.
Included in this kit: This kit comes with everything you need to do the install, and just watch the video to see how it's done! Requires wire splicing of a load equalizing resistor per light bulb. Just watch our video and see how it's done!
In the video for this product: we show the white parking lights illuminated and amber blinkers when using the GTR Lighting switchback LED bulbs. However at the time of making this video we did not document how the truck acted with these lights installed and the engine running - the truck changes how the circuitry works entirely. On the LED switchback bulbs the parking light function is white and the blinker function is amber. On the Tundra, with the engine running, the only time the vehicle energizes the dim parking light circuit (white on the switchback bulb) is when the headlights are turned on.
The original parking light function: uses the bright circuit of the bulb (amber). When headlights are turned on, the dim function of the bulb is used (white).
