Profile Performance: The automotive aftermarket’s best name in LED Lighting; and when it came time to build a bi-xenon, there's no better name in the biz than Morimoto to make it happen. So working hand in hand with the industry experts, Profile is working hard to deliver the performance that we all expect. The Profile Bi-Lens D2S is based on Morimoto's D2S 3.0 platform that retrofitters often miss for all the right reasons and we have good news, it's back as a Profile exclusive product!
Optics: The wider re-designed reflector bowl concentrates the hotspot directly under the step for intense performance but also plenty of width. The cutoff line is crisp, clean, and full of brilliant color flicker. Smaller bi-xenon projectors will struggle to compete with the Profile Bi-Lens D2S, as they will easily out shine smaller projectors like the Mini H1. Capable of producing both low and high beam patterns, these aftermarket bi-xenon projectors are the only units you'd need to retain full functionality of your headlights.
Easy Install: Like the popular Mini H1's, the Profile Bi-Lens D2S shares the same threaded shaft design at the rear of the reflector bowl to ease installation, improve versatility, and rids the need to cut and glue the headlight reflector to mount the new projector in place – which nobody can argue against. The Profile Bi-Lens D2S just bolts onto your reflector bowls and away you go to blast the streets with a ton of bright but controlled light.
Lens Options: The optional square lens, with its modern shape, is for those looking for something unique without compromising light output. Though the shroud options are more limited for the square lens, there are enough to keep your options open and build a badass retrofit for your truck (or car) with square-shaped reflectors. These aftermarket bi-xenon projectors are also available with a more traditional 3” round lens, that will accept all shrouds. Both versions are 100% optically clear so there's no need for a further upgrade. There is no need for centric rings to mount shrouds either.
Compact: No other “full size” bi-xenon projector comes close to the compact geometry of the Profile Bi-Lens D2S. Stripped down to no more material than what's essential, they are supremely small in terms of height, are very shallow, and no wider than need be. Their traditional 3” lens gives them a certain presence when mounted inside of the headlights – but if you're tight on space or simply want to avoid trimming / extra mods at all costs – then the Profile Bi-Lens D2S is the way to go.

I had no idea that the Profile Bi-Lens D2S is the previous model of the Morimoto Mini D2S's. However, performance and overall quality is fantastic. I've had factory TL projectors (in my Acura TL), with the upgraded clear lenses, and I've had factory Infiniti G37 Sedan projectors (in my Infiniti G37), also with upgraded clear lenses. I never was able to get them dialed in to the cutoff sharpness, cutoff color, width, etc... with plenty of trial-and-error tweaking. The Profile Bi-Lens D2S projectors out of the box with Osram CBI's (same bulbs pulled from both other factory projectors), look downright amazing. At the correct aiming distance of 25ft, they are gorgeous and need no tweaking AT ALL. I installed these projectors in factory-new Honda Accord reflector housings (took quite a bit of dremel work to open the hole up to get them mounted properly, but aiming them horizontally and vertically very close to factory was minimal.) Little adjustments with headlight housing adjustment screws takes care of that minor up/down, left/right needs. Also, I used Apollo 3.0 shrouds, which were quite large (I should have gone with smaller diameter shrouds, but I got them to work nicely after a bit of trimming, and they look better than some factory projectors I've seen.) I'm going to shoot TRS some pictures that should be online soon to show the finished work. Regardless, TRS is the bomb, shipping is quick, customer service is amazing, and they deserve a pat on the back.
These projector perform surprisingly well and are definitely an underrated set of projectors. The cut off is sharp with a nice color band and they have decent hot spot. Not as wide as my mini d2s 4.0 but for $50 you you won't even care. These projectors perform way beyond my expectations and miles ahead of the crappy ijdm toy and Ebay projectors... better than most OEM projectors to be honest. I dig em.
Had a pair of ACME mini D2S, the Profile Performance are clearly a step ahead without breaking the bank! The beam is wider, highbeam is more controlled. Plus that blue purple line on the cutoff line is gorgeous! I am really satisfied with TRS, always answering questions, deliveries are always on time or faster than expected!
