Profile Performance: The automotive aftermarket’s best name in LED Lighting and when it comes to demon eyes; easily the one we recommend. Fact is that while the rest of the industry is busy sticking their name on a generic or standing still with the same-old same-old; Profile is working hand-in-hand with the industry’s experts to produce the performance that we all expect. Their Prism RGB Demon Eyes are unrivaled, and here’s why.
Mean Looking: Designed with a universal mount that will fit a wide range of aftermarket and OEM projectors with ease; the Prism Demon Eyes will add an ambient glow in virtually any color just behind your projector lenses. In combination with our custom lens etching service, you can create one mean looking set of headlights!
What's Weird: Most everybody who buys an RGB setup is crazy focused on how it works in the white-mode...almost as if that's even more important than the rest of the colors. Well, the good news is that the new Profile Prism Demon Eyes and their drivers have been tuned to produce an amazingly clear, neutral white, as well as an amber, and every other color in the spectrum for that matter. When paired up with the Morimoto XBT Controller & smart phone app, these produce very accurate colors...reds, blues, greens, teals, purples, pinks...you name it!
Intensity: Unlike most other RGB Demon eyes on the market that use a singular RGB chip, the Profile Prism RGB demon eyes are illuminated by 12 individual RGB LEDs to produce plenty of intensity in all colors! On top of that, they come with a specially designed optical reflector to direct all of light forward and through the projector lens. This not only helps make them brighter than anything else out there, but creates a beam pattern of its own on the ground in front of your car. Do you need that? No, do you want that? Yes...and besides, overkill is underrated!
Reliability: The innovative Hybrid-LED color-changing technology delivers a virtually infinite lifespan of 50,000 hours. That's almost six straight years! The complexity of their circuit boards has been minimized to reduce the chance of a failed contact, and the four solder points on the back are protected with resin. The Prism drivers have a “shut off” wire going into them that we recommend connecting with your low beam circuit – so that when the projectors heat up, the demon eyes automatically turn off. Reliability: Check!
Plug n Play: Even older systems from LED Concepts required complicated “DIY” wiring from the user's side, but all Prism LED setups are 100% Plug n Play. There is no wire stripping, cutting, or splicing involved. All wiring is insulated by rubber tubing then protected with TechFlex mesh for an OEM-like appearance, durability, and abrasion resistance. The LED drivers are housed inside an aluminum housing that's been anodized with an attractive piano black finish and laser engraved with the Profile Prism graphics. Make sure your setup looks good inside and out!
Remote Control: First-time users will need to purchase an optional RGB Controller. The Morimoto XBT is recommended for the best performance and color accuracy, has a killer Iphone/Android Bluetooth app, and three channels, which can be controlled independently. The Profile PrismPilot is a more basic RF-based setup that has four channels, but no smartphone app or independent output control.
Brackets:Though the singular mounting point on the Prism Demon Eyes make them "universal" - It only makes sense to offer bracket options that make them a direct-fit for some of today's most popular projectors. If you're retrofitting with Mini H1's (of any generation; some mods req'd), Profile Performance Optic D2S, or the Morimoto 4.0's / MLED; then you're in luck! Just add a set of the brackets for an easy bolt-on style setup. Yeeee ha!

I'm in the process of doing a projector retrofit with these demon eyes and I found that the 4 wires that are soldered to the PCB board to be a weak point. They break very easily with any sort of flexing and bending because the wires are thin. I had two wires snap on me so I decided to redo the solder on all 4 wires and then seal everything up with silicone all around the PCB where the wires attach so as to reduce flexing and bending at the connection points. You can see in the product photos that they only put silicone over the solder points but that isn't good enough to prevent breakage. Also, the glow from these aren't as bright as I had hoped. I tested them in my garage.
I was very excited to get the demon eyes. Once i got them installed i was disappointed in the light output during the day. They are very dim and the halos over power them. At night they're great. Just wish they were brighter.
I had high hopes for these in a set of Mini H1 projectors but LEDs ended up "very DIM." At night or in very shaded/dark areas they are great. During the day they just seem to be on dimmer switch on lowest setting. Maybe will reposition for a different result? Very happy with XBT halos.
