Reality Check: Customers often ask, Do I really need a harness? Yes! A relay harness is designed to deliver steady voltage to your HID ballasts directly from the car battery. Nobody likes a flickering headlight, so why risk it? Factory headlight outputs are really only designed to power a halogen light bub, not an HID ballast.
Under Control: Morimoto makes it easy with the MotoControl H4/9003 Bi-xenon relay harness. Designed to be completely plug-n-play; it's a seamless solution to keep your low and high beams under control with the original stalk inside the car. Works perfectly with Bi-xenon projector retrofits and Hi/Lo HID systems.
Advanced: The third generation MotoControl 8-Pin Relay has a tiny built-in capacitor that stores and releases it's charge between mode changes. So even if there's a short gap between the low and high beam signals from your car, your HID's will run smoothly. It's sealed weather-pack connector is new for 2014 and is a major reliability upgrade compared to other bi-xenon harnesses.
Universal: This harness is designed to work with both positive and ground switched headlight circuits, making it universally compatible with all vehicles no matter new or old.
Plug n Play: The layout of the harness makes it easy to install. With just a few simple connections, even your mom could set this thing up! Wire lengths are long enough to be used in everything from compact cars to SUVs and it's designed to be 100% plug and play (no cutting or splicing needed). Its connections are explained in this video.
OEM Grade: Aside from being ahead of the game from a technical standpoint, the HD relay is also a work of art. With it's wiring protected by abrasion resistant Techflex mesh sleeving and it's extruded aluminum relay shell that's been anodized and laser engraved - the MotoControl Harness will look factory fresh under the hood!

Reason behind purchasing this harness was due to a different companies that burnt up and quit working. Upon receiving the harness and installing it I could already tell the quality is much better. Slowly as other components go bad I will be replacing them with Morimoto products.
I just did my first projector retrofit on my new Tacoma and had an issue with the high beams not working. The problem turned out to be the way that Toyota wires the headlights to cut off the low beam filament when the high beam is activated. In my case it turned off the power to the ballast. This sweet little gem of a unit cured all of my woes. All of the wires are labeled and I had it installed in less that 30 minutes, everything is PLUG and PLAY. Seriously, it's so easy a caveman can do it. Thanks TRS for curing my headache and for the excellent customer service and speedy shipping!
I upgraded to this harness after my ebay special wouldnt allow me to have high beams. Would click the solenoid, but the light would cut out.
Once I installed this harness, there was light! The quality of this harness is amazing compared to the ebay special as well. I have no concerns about this thing failing, and even if it does, TRS will stand behind it.
VERY happy with it, can't wait to install the second harness in my other car.
I bought this harness to replace a cube harness I installed 5 years ago.
Install was simple and easy and the looks are stunning. I would highly recommend this if you are using an old cube relay harness as the cubes tend to go out after so much time.
This is probably the most sexy harness I have seen and it takes all the guess work out with a bi-xenon setup.
For this price this is one amazing harness.
I purchased this wiring harness for my wife's 2001 Tacoma a few days ago and just got it today. I was amazed about the high quality of the wiring. It is definitely heavy duty wiring. The install is pretty straight forward and simple. Excellent HID wiring.
