About these parts: We were able to pick up some NOS (New Old Stock) Morimoto Sealed6 LED headlights. These are great for a budget build where space is at a premium, or you just don't want to do a retrofit. No judgement.

About the fitment: Stock light depth, stock mounting points along the edge. Fitment shouldn't be an issue for standard 5x7 Sealed Beam bezels.

LED Specs: The 14-piece array of CREE XHP50 5W LED's produce 3850 raw lumens at 55w in low beam, and a mosquito-melting 4900 raw lumens on high beam at 70W! Morimoto's advanced Kuria optic projector lens array efficiently distributes all of the available light on the ground in a wide beam pattern with a proper cutoff line to avoid glaring oncoming traffic. (so all of that bright light ends up on the ground...where you need it most!)

LED DRL: What's a good set of headlights these days without an integrated LED Daytime Running Light function? The Sealed6 has a central high-power LED-DRL chip that illuminates the full optical array (but without producing actual output) in their daytime mode. Activated with a single 12V+ input on the back of the housing.

DRL Wiring: The lights have a traditional H4 wiring, and an H13 adapter to power your low and high beam. If you want to run the low power DRL optic in the middle of the light, simply connect the blank brown wire to any switched 12v power source.

Closeouts Information: If you're a headlight junkie looking for a hot deal on parts for your next project, look no further. The TRS Closeouts category has non-stop selection of parts at a price that's impossible to beat! Check out this behind the scenes video that explains a bit more about these parts.

Was skeptical

Justin

At 100 per light for a old truck that I didn't pay much for I was skeptical about this. I do not regret it at all. The lights are bright as hell. You can clearly tell when they are on even in town under the street lights. 10/10 would recommend these at this price. Only issue was the depth is a little deeper compared to factory so some trimming might be required.

Amazing headlights

Nick

They fit amazing in my 97xj had to trim my headlight bucket a little for the wire to come threw but otherwise they are awesome. One headlight was brighter the both of my factory halogens. Would deff recommend these for anyone wanting to upgrade to led for the 5x7.

Bitchin

Nick

Bought them for my 97 xj and holy crap they are bright. Fitment was good, had to modify my headlight bucket for clearance of the wire but otherwise they are great would recommend them to anyone wanting to upgrade to leds with 5x7s. Also shiping was on point and packaging was great.

Awesome product! 1990 mazda b2600i 2WD

These things are bright as hell! Way better than the sealed halogen lights i had before. I can see much better and feel safer when driving at night or to work in the early morning. I had to cut the light adjustment bracket because they are bulkier than the stock lights, but that was very easy. I haven't been flashed by other drivers for being so bright. Properly adjusted. I highly recommend these.

Just retrofit it

Steven Hoyt

I took a gamble on these due to the sale price and taking the lazy way out rather than retrofitting my truck and I'm not blown away. I've got a set of JW Speaker housings in an XJ Cherokee and they're nearly as good as a retrofit and I was hoping these would be close to that performance. The sealed beams I had in before were about as bright but had functional hot spots instead of each LED having its own hotspot (distracting). These are substantially wider and fills in a lot of areas which were dark before but the light throw is no better and the lack of hotspot leaves your eyes seeking all over the area immediately in front of you rather than focusing down the road. The saving grace for these is the high beam performance. The odd, UFO-shaped output in the photos actually works well going down the road and the low beams stay on with the highs to make for an overall good light for late nights on rural roads.

The housings themselves have a nice, weighty feel to them and seem to be well-heatsinked but the polycarbonate material used for the front cover is very easily scratched (I have a small scratch just from installing the retaining ring and slightly brushing the front). I had to do a fair bit of cutting and peening to open up the stock bracket so that these would fit--these are not a direct, simple replacement for halogen sealed beams.
