INSTALLATION DOCUMENTS
Chrysler Canbus: Modern Chrysler products like the Dodge Ram and Jeep JK Wrangler all have super picky "can-bus" systems that monitor for changes in the headlight circuit and cause all kinds of problems when doing an HID conversion. When a normal harness just won't cut it, we always recommend the Mopar Spec MotoControl Bi-xenon relay harness from Morimoto.
What's in a Name: Though its name suggests it will only work on a Chrysler vehicle, this harness is becoming more and more commonly needed on a lot of modern vehicles. Don't have a "lamp out" warning, but suffering from annoying pulsing current coming from your factory headlight circuit and causing your lights to flicker? this is your answer.
Can't Resist: The H13 Bi-xenon Mopar Spec harness utilizes two 50W load resistors with unique blue anodized heat-sinks to safely add that "missing" resistance back into the headlight circuit. There is also a 4700mF capacitor to help absorb any pulsing signals emitted from the stock output for uninterrupted relay function.
Under Control: Morimoto makes it easy with the MotoControl H13/9008 Bi-xenon relay harness. Designed to be completely plug-n-play; it's a seamless solution to keep your low and high beams under control with the original stalk inside the car. Works perfectly with Bi-xenon projector retrofits and Hi/Lo HID systems.
Advanced: The third generation MotoControl 8-Pin Relay has a tiny built-in capacitor that stores and releases it's charge between mode changes. So even if there's a short gap between the low and high beam signals from your car, your HID's will run smoothly. It's sealed weather-pack connector was recently updated in 2015 and is a major reliability upgrade compared to other bi-xenon harnesses.
Universal: This harness is designed to work with both positive and ground switched headlight circuits, making it universally compatible with all vehicles no matter new or old.
Plug n Play: The layout of the harness makes it easy to install. With just a few simple connections, even your mom could set this thing up! Wire lengths are long enough to be used in everything from compact cars to SUVs and it's designed to be 100% plug and play (no cutting or splicing needed).
OEM Grade: Aside from being ahead of the game from a technical standpoint, the Morimoto Spec Bi-xenon Harness is also a work of art. With it's wiring protected by abrasion resistant Techflex mesh sleeving and it's extruded aluminum relay shell that's been anodized and laser engraved - the MotoControl Harness will look factory fresh under the hood!

Makes everything work
by Drew
This thing sure has a lot of parts to secure, but in the end it was worth it.
Everything was plug and play and easy to set up.
The non-battery side wire could be longer, as I just barely had enough length to make it across my engine bay.
There is also a bit of a delay both when engaging the high beams and when turning them off. I wish they could be snappier but I think that's how the signal is sent from the stock harness.
2013 Jeep Wrangler

I used this harness when retrofitting my 2013 JK Wrangler. This was all new to me when I started and found out real quick what "canbus" issues were. After using a genreic harness and hearing the fierce relay buzz when the high beams were engaged, I knew I had problems.
This wiring harness cures all the problems associated with retrofitting a late model Mopar product. It's also the only one I'm aware of that actually works!
If you're doing a late model JK Wrangler save yourself a lot of grief and buy this harness! It's a simple plug and play and IT WORKS!
Works great, one annoying thing.

This kit is very complete and simple to hook up although it is a little time consuming routing and securing everything properly. Installed in my 2013 wrangler with JUST enough length to reach the far side ground when routed as the wrangler directions show. No flicker, and high beam delay is not as bad as stock on my jeep, however the driver side light switches to low faster than the passenger which functionally doesn't matter but is very annoying to me and my headlight OCD. According to the jk wrangler specific instructions I found it said to not use the two blue hd load resisters. I don't know what sorcery they use to not get a bulb out warning when the driver side factory plug isn't even attached is beyond me, but it work so I'm happy.
