Renowned: The Morimoto Elite Systems have earned their reputation amongst many as the aftermarket's best set of HID's. We urge you to check out the specs below, Read the reviews and then ask yourself whether your ability to see well while driving at night is worth saving a couple bucks?
NOTE: If you have a 2015+ Mopar vehicle, you'll need a 2015+ Mopar Elite kit.
HID Ballasts: Designed in California by Morimoto's engineer, Yoshi Ishida, the Morimoto XB 2.0 HID Ballasts are just as good looking on the outside as they are well-engineered on the inside. They are available in both 35w and 50w versions, use proprietary software by the pros at Hylux paired with packaging perfection from the masters at Morimoto. This is today's most modern iteration of a model that has sold more than half a million units since inception, and we don't think it can really get any better!
HID Bulbs: The Morimoto Elite HID bulbs feature ceramic bases for precise alignment giving you a clean beam pattern. Quartz glass tubes to minimize UV output and maximize lumin Osity. Their Praxair (US) metal halide salts produce very accurate color temperatures in the 4K, 5K, and 6K range.
Wiring: The special Mopar Spec Bi-xenon Harness features an all-new weather-pack extruded aluminum relay, 14 gauge stranded copper wire wrapped in durable black tech-flex mesh that looks like a factory harness once installed. No cutting or splicing here: all connections for this Mopar Bi-xenon Relay are plug-n-play. Most importantly, the Mopar Relay Harness includes the proper resistors and capacitor to absorb and smooth out the pulsed signal from the factory headlight circuit that plagues these trucks.
Backed Up: Let's not forget the 5-year warranty on the entire kit*. The Morimoto Elite system is designed to run for 2500 hours, so that's what it's guaranteed for. Don't buy into empty promises from other places offering BS "lifetime" warranties. Nothing lasts forever, and if you think "the other guy" will be there to pick up the phone or even stay in business long enough to assist you when there's a problem; guess again! [*XB55 Mopar HID kits have a 3 year warranty]
User-Approved: By satisfied enthusiasts with all kinds of cars and trucks. With a quick and easy search we pulled up install examples (1,2,3,4,5,6) that span several generations of the Morimoto Elite HID systems! If you haven't made a decision just yet, keep reading!

Great light output, Super Bright! I had to swap the low and hi beam wires to get the correct spread pattern. It said that might be required in the instructions, but it was easy enough to do.
Mopar Bi-Xenon H13 2011 Ram 1500
by JEFFREY
The stock halogens on the Dual H13 headlights on my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 were so bad that I would have to turn on the high beams to even tell if they were on! After much research I went with The Retrofit Source Mopar Bi-Xenon H13 Kit. I made multiple calls for questions before and after my purchase and have to say their support is excellent. I never waited more than one minute for a real person to answer my questions. Installing the bulbs and making the connections are quick, but locating the module, resistors, and grounds is more time consuming. The resistors get really hot and it is my opinion that you don't want them anywhere near plastic or main wiring looms. After much trial and error I settled on the horizontal bar between the transmission cooler and the ac/radiator. I saw a post on the net that used the same location. I was told by the techs that the resistors can be exposed to the elements. This location puts them with good air flow with no temperature sensitive plastic or wiring nearby. There is a small lip in the center of the bar, so to allow them to lie flat, I used 1/8 aluminum pop rivets. I used two thick spacers below resistors to allow them to lie flat and one one top to keep the rivet from pulling through. This bar is electrically isolated from the ground so i tapped a 12-24 terminal screw in the bar and used a 12 gauge tinned marine wire with heat shrink ring terminals to connect it to the large ground terminal near the battery. I painted the resistors with high temperature flat black paint so the don't show through the grill. The harness hot lead was easily connected to the positive accessory terminal on the fuse box. The ground for the ballast easily reached the same negative terminal that the resistors went to near the fuse box and fender. I used 3M super double sided tape to attach the ballasts to the vertical frame supports near the headlights. There is no way to easily screw them in. I drilled and tapped another ground terminal on that same support for the passenger ballast ground. I honestly spent the better part of a day with the install but it was definitely worth it. The improvement turned night into day. The visibility is remarkable. I was concerned about glare to on coming cars since I didn't use projectors. But after using them for a couple of times on very dark roads, I have never had a single car flash at me. The improvement in lighting is superb!!! I am extremely pleased with their service and would recommend this kit to anyone with a Dodge Ram 1500.

Installed these lights on my 2011 Countryman . Worked as soon as I plugged them in. But noticed light malfunction Warnjng on my dash. I called customer service and they were able to troubleshoot it over the phone. 2 added resistors we're sent to me free of charge. After adding them to the system the warnings stopped. TRS has great customer service and good quality products. Will be back for more lighting.
