LED Bulbs

LED Bulbs can be fit on the low and high projectors as well as the fogs to give your vehicle powerful illumination for different driving conditions!

Benefits of LED Bulbs

Car owners will find low beam LED bulbs very attractive for many reasons. They can last much longer than incandescent HID bulbs. They also provide a variety of interesting features like color variations and different designs. LEDs are also more efficient and can be used in places where you won’t be able to fit halogen or HID bulbs. Last but not least, they help save money on fuel and don’t cause a drain on your vehicle’s batteries. Halogens are already being phased out by car manufacturers. Eventually, you'll need to make the switch anyway. It can be great to make the switch on your terms instead of waiting for the manufacturers to phase them out.

Differences Between LED High and Low Beam

Headlights for every car must have both high and low beams installed in the projector. The high beams are more powerful and used on the highway for seeing further ahead. The low or dipped beams focus on the light directly in front of the vehicle and go up to a dozen or so yards ahead. The dual-beam effect on LEDs is often achieved by using one individual LED bulb integrated with both high and low beam functions. This bulb is called the Dual Beam bulb and includes H4, H13, 9004 and 9007 varieties. Other LED projectors have two separate bulbs, both with the high and low-beam function. For example, the H1 bulb for the high beam and the H7 bulb for the dipped beam in some headlights. Both H1 and H7 bulbs are Single Beam bulbs. Other varieties include H1, H3, H7, H8/H9/H11, 9005, 9006, and 880/881. Single beam headlights have two headlight bulbs installed on each headlight. Dual-beam headlights have only one headlight bulb installed per headlight. If your vehicle came with single beam headlights by default, you will only be able to replace it with a single beam bulb. If it came with dual-beam bulbs, you will be able to replace both or individual bulbs on the projector. The two distinct styles of headlights are not interchangeable and if the headlight wiring on the vehicle is set for one type of bulb, it will not match the opposite style. Make sure to check which type of bulbs are fitted on your headlights to get the right LED bulbs for replacement.
