Better and Better: It just doesn't stop! That is, the continued improvement we've seen from Morimoto on their XSB Switchback halos. You ask and they deliver, simple as that! Brighter White? Yes. Amazing Amber? Oh yeah. Upgraded Drivers? Done. Longer Wiring, You bet. Smoother, more refined Coating? Can do! The new 3.0 version of the Morimoto XSB LEDs is the best one yet, and honestly - we're not sure what more to ask for! No matter what you call them: switchback halo rings, LED angel eyes, halos, they'll satisfy the pickiest palate.

Intensity and Uniformity: An updated blend of phosphorous silicone coats the front face of the XSB 3.0 halos and is responsible for their neutral "white when off" look and their amazing, uniform intensity - which is unlike anything else on the market. Users complained that earlier generation XSB halos had problems with stuff "sticking" to and/or causing a lot of wrinkles in the old softer coating - but that, our friends, is now a problem of the past!

Amber Only? Though they come out of the box ready to run as a switchback system, the XSB halos can easily also be wired for use as a bright Amber-only or White-only halo if that's what you want. Just wire up the appropriate input(s) and you're ready to roll!

Simplicity: Wiring is easy with a variant of the X Change Module integrated into the updated 3rd Gen LED drivers that power each ring. The white wire receives a constant 12V+. The black wire is grounded, and the orange wire is tapped into the turn signal circuit. Super simple!

EZ-Mount: There are three micro-mounts integrated into their backing, making the XSB's the easiest and cleanest rings on the market to install. (Patent Pending) Now you can forget about failing glue or wires wrapped around the face of your halos. Don't be "that guy" with dripping glue or picture hanging wire visible inside your headlights.

Reliability: The innovative Hybrid-LED technology delivers a virtually infinite lifespan of 50,000 hours. That's almost six straight years! Because they're based on much more stable and mature SMD-LEDs; they are considerably more reliable between hot/cold cycles compared to "new" COB based halos. This video explains the XSB LED technology a bit more in detail.

Trusted: For more than a decade, we've worked hard to earn our killer reputation. Car guys world-wide know that TRS carries the internet's best selection of high performance automotive and powersport lighting products at the best prices, and we've got the best, most knowledgeable team of real enthusiasts to help back it up. Great white light and easy to use power system

ZACHARY COHEN Reviewed: 10.10.2016

I love these except that the soft phosphor coating comes off if you aren't careful handling them. I cant think of any way to repair it besides use a diffuser.

Outstanding BRIGHT WHITE LED's!

Michael Reviewed: 06.11.2016

First off, let me say that some of the comments below (Mainly those from Eric) made me skeptical. I even called TRS to ask them if this was true, which they said no, these are white, not a tint of blue. I took the leap of faith and couldn't be happier. These are AMAZING! They are bright white, like 5500K white (the perfect white!). These look amazing. Trust me, don't trust Eric, he's got no idea what he's talking about (or he's colorblind)

(TRS Comment: Eric probably had the XSB 1.0 halos, which did have a slight blue tinge to their white light, whereas the XSB 2.0 does not)

The best there is

waylon Reviewed: 06.10.2016

Extremely bright halos. Can see both the white and amber colors very clearly and easily in direct sunlight even with the headlights on. They are also the cleanest I've ever seen because they look like a solid ring not just individual LEDs. And the white is pure white there is no tint of blue. Easy to install and wire up. Very quality build. These are by far the best looking and cleaned looking halos on the market and at an extremely reasonable price compared to the competition.

They look amazing!

Peter Reviewed: 05.04.2016

I just got my 2 pairs of halos for my 2004 Acura TL. Just had them installed and tested them and man and they look amazing! First mod on my car and I'm impressed on how they turned out compared to other halos I've seen out there. I'm very happy with the quality and brightness although I got a little disappointed as far as shipping but it was worth the wait. Looking forward to purchase more products from TRS. Thanks TRS!

The 2.0 halos are great

Corey Reviewed: 02.18.2016

These halos are a huge upgrade. I love how bright they are from the 1.0. These are also less blue. They are actually white.

XSB Halos 2.0 vs XSB Halos 1.0

Eric Reviewed: 02.08.2016

Let me start by saying that these are definitely the best halos on the market. They're super bright and the switchback modules are oem-like. I bought the 2.0s hoping that they had corrected the "too-blue hue" issue. However, there are still some things that irk me about these, thus the reason for only a 3-star rating:

1. Color. These are still way too blue for me. They are most definitely not 5000K as advertised. They are 8000K (explained below). They might be a slight improvement over the 1.0s, but not by much. I'm one of those people that are pretty detail-crazy (like most people who purchase from TRS). I like things to match, especially "hues" of white when it comes to headlights, fog lights, halos, etc. Otherwise, things just look cobbled together and scream "tacked-on aftermarket". I run Morimoto D1s 5500K bulbs in my headlights, which I love (perfect balance of output and color in my opinion). When compared to the halos, you can see the difference in white hue.

The 2.0 halos are still very much 8000K, much like the 1.0s were (the 1.0s might have even been higher!).

How do I know they are 8000K? Well, I put some 8000K D1s bulbs in my headlights to see what the halos matched up to. It's a perfect match, as seen in these photos.

Passenger side: http://bit.ly/1QPCoIj
Driver side: http://bit.ly/1UWSdhe

Passenger side is 8000K D1s bulb, driver's side is 5500K D1s bulb. Fogs both have the 2.0s installed. The difference is obvious. I tried 3 brand new 8000K bulbs, all sold under different company names to be sure. Also, nobody likes 8000K. It's way too blue, the output is dim, and you look like a 16 year-old kid driving around with his $20 eBay 8000K HID kit in reflector housings (memories from 10-15 years ago should be flooding back to you now, we all did it!).

2. Secondly, in my opinion, the 1.0s were plenty bright enough. The 2.0s are a bit too bright when viewing at night. During the day, the 2.0s are great, but when you look at them at night, they're so bright that the human eye almost perceives them as a solid circle of light vs. the ring of light that they actually are.

So, if TRS can coordinate with Morimoto to produce an XSB Halo that is actually 5000K (or even 6000K would be fine) and not so insanely and blindingly bright, I will buy them. In fact, I will buy many of them.

Overall, a great and reliable halo that just needs a bit more refining (again, in my opinion).

A little too much blue but bright

Corey Reviewed: 09.11.2015

These halos are definitely more blue that white. Wish they were closer to 5500k. Also the amber DRL is pretty dim in direct sunlight. The whitish blue is bright though. High quality.

Also I'm using mine as external halos and after applying a couple coats of clear coat they have held up great against heavy rain. It does void the warranty if they're used like this but they seem pretty waterproof.

Shine!

Fady Reviewed: 06.25.2015

Uniformity. YES. Durability. YES. Easy DRL/switchback function. YES. Totally impressed with these babies! Only drawback is that these halos have a heavier tint of blue than previous versions. More of a 65k feel as opposed to the 5500k that it says it is. The amber is a more "orange" feel than that hyper sunkist orange color. Amber is great in my book, hopefully next batch will definitely fix the white, into a pure point blank white. Thanks again TRS!

Great design and output, but definitely not white.

Eric Reviewed: 05.30.2015

The color is more blue than the 2 previous generations. The previous generations were more of a white than blue. My previous generation halos matched the 1156 Morimoto XB LED bulbs I have in my headlights. These do not and I'm rather disappointed. They're brighter, which is great, but they are a bit more blue, which sucks. They are advertised as 6000K but look kind of higher to me, compared to the 1156 LEDs (5000K, pure white with tinge of blue).

Hopefully TRS will correct this in the future.

On a positive note, the amber color is great and the switchback module is pure awesome.
