Dime a Dozen: Everybody wants H11 LED headlight bulbs today, but for all the wrong reasons. The diverse marketing tactics and the numbers war that's pushed onto ill-advised consumers is only getting more and more amusing to guys like us who actually know better. 100W? 10,000 lumens? Top-secret LED chip formula with seemingly exotic blend of rare materials or fancy coatings? Cool story, bro, but how do they actually work on the road at night? Isn't that what headlights are for? Check out our Comparison Video on YouTube.
2Stroke 2.0: Despite the fact that we haven't really had anything to offer in this niche, well, at least without risking our reputation selling our customers something that we truly didn't believe in: We respect the fact that Morimoto stood on the sidelines for so long, simply learning from everybody else's mistakes. In testing the brand-new 2Stroke 2.0 system side by side with a multitude of other designs, we finally became excited about LED headlight bulbs for the first time. Against the odds and certainly our expectations; seeing is believing and we agree they actually work pretty darn well! Here's why.
Safety: You won't be putting yourself at risk while driving at night with the 2Stroke Bulbs. Prior to this, we could only ever comfortably recommend LED bulbs for use as auxiliary lighting, high beams, fog lights, etc. Here, we test a lot of automotive lighting products. (really, a lot) Until now, there were literally no options that would translate their luminosity out onto the road into a useful-enough beam pattern (and measured lux at a distance) to really call adequate for on-road use. The optics for the H11 2Stroke bulbs are unique compared to other sizes in the range in order to produce the best possible results in H11 headlights.
Modern: Relative to the original 2Stroke that used massive & powerful CREE XHP50 LED chips, the updated 2.0 version now employs the latest and greatest Z ES chips from Philips Lumileds. Their small footprint allows for maximum lumen density and precision perfection when it comes to the bulbs ability to re-create the output of the original halogen bulbs they replace. Many other LED headlight bulbs are now using small LED chips lined up in a row, but nothing compares to the Philips Z ES.
Pretty Cool: Heat management is crucial for lumen maintenance and reliability. The 2Stroke bulb's internally opposed 1.5mm copper boards extract as much heat as possible from the area surrounding the LED chips and transfers it to the radiator at the back of the bulb. The one-piece radiator housing is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum, and conceals a magnetic levitating fan inside. This is the most compact way to house an effective yet compact cooling system.
Size Matters: Due to the extra depth of most LED bulbs, they won't fit inside headlights with solid plastic rear housing caps. The 2Stroke 2.0 is undoubtedly one of the most compact (yet still actively cooled) LED Bulbs on the market. Morimoto paid much attention to this throughout development, and it's not such an easy task given the need to balance size, power input to the LED chips, and thermal management to keep them running within safe range.
Trusted: For more than a decade, we've worked hard to earn our killer reputation. Car guys world-wide know that TRS carries the internet's best selection of high performance automotive and powersport lighting products at the best prices, and we've got the best, most knowledgeable team of real enthusiasts to help back it up. If we sell it, then you bet we've put it to the test on our own cars, trucks, and bikes. Need a recommendation on parts for your project? Got a tech question? Wholesale inquiry? Contact Us

I purchased 2 sets, 1 for the fogs and 1 for high beams. So far I have installed the fogs and the result was fantastic. Very noticeable difference in brightness as well as a slightly wider light spread/road coverage. My 2016 Odyssey touring Elite comes with HIDs from factory but the fogs and High beam bulbs are halogen. Just by adding these Morimoto LED fog light bulbs the difference was night and day.
Installation was a very easy with no problems and I have no flickering issues out of the box. No need to trim anything on the car or housing to make these fit.
Cant wait to install the high beams and test them.
I purchased these lights on a Wednesday and they shipped that same day and arrived that Friday. The quick shipping was awesome, but the product is even better. I upgraded the lights in my 2012 Tundra with this kit and the High Beam kit as well. The light output is incredible, and the fitment and quality of the project is great too! I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a good quality LED bulb that doesn't want to break the bank.
Excellent upgrade, these led lights do what they say, there is alot of wiring with the anti flicker add on but everything did fit inside the headlight housing with the dust cover on. Fast shipping also ordered on Thursday had them on Monday.
I love these LED bulbs! They are super bright and clear! I cannot tell a difference between these and HID's in my Canyon Denali! I highly recommend these!
Awesome light. Fan is stupid loud, other than that it's really good
I recently bought these bulbs and coming from hids I was a little hesitant but I'm glad I did. The construction is top notch and the light output is amazing. I absolutely love these lights and would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade.
Got these in and adjusted the aim before the weekend. Found a flat bit of ground near a wall at work. Headlights were at about 41" from the ground, so I aimed the cutoff just below 40" at twenty five feet. I'm very impressed with the improvement over stock and the "throw" is more than adequate (I'm reading that this is historically a weakness of LED replacement bulbs due to the inability of replicating a satisfactory filament-style beam pattern).
As a side note, I have a buddy at work who installed eBay LED bulbs into his Chevy Silverado (reflector housings). They're plenty bright but he said everyone keeps flashing him. We were pulled up in front of a tractor trailer and I showed him why- his beams were aimed too high and were a huge scatter of light all over. He might be able to re-aim these, but I don't think he'll ever get the sharp cutoff like a projector can. Just another reason to do research and get dedicated parts that are guaranteed to work- don't just get generics that "might" work.
I think this is the best drop-in setup available so far: a great combination of price, performance, and ease of installation. I was not interested in rigging up an HID install and then aiming them way down to avoid blinding folks.
Thanks Morimoto and TRS!
I was really happy that all of the cables can fit without mods to my dust cap on my 2018 4runner. They aren't as bright as the HIDs I have used in the past, but are a definite improvement over the stock halogens. The light is a crisp white light, without the cheap "amazon" 6000k blue tint. I highly recommend these if you want an easy installation and a whiter light.
At first was a little discouraged to 2stroke 2.0. There was a previous make had 10,000 lumens but I guess they stop making them. Instead this new models output is 2440 raw lumens. I surprised with them. For 2440 lumens they are pretty bright. I strongly recommend these upgrades.
Installed on my 2013 Lexus RX350 main headlights. The cut is nice and the lights are brighter then the stock halogen. The bulbs fit perfectly and have a nice white with a little blue tint to them. I would recommend this to a friend.
