Benchmark: Over the course of the last year, Morimoto was hard at work developing a new kind of LED bulb. It re-creates the original beam pattern from your optics effectively by doing more with less. They will put more light on the road for you as the driver, while creating less glare for oncoming traffic compared to any other LED bulb on the market today. Superior Beam Quality: The advanced PCB technology at the core of the 2Stroke 3.0 sets a new industry benchmark emission surface interval of just 2mm total. The PCB core itself is just 1.0mm thick. The dielectric layer: 300um. The circuit pattern: 140um, and the Osram Oslon HKL351.TE LED chips: just .43mm each. Paired with the 1.03 x 4.33mm light-emitting surface area of the LEDs: this adds up to a total cubic volume of 4.46mm. At the end of the day, no LED bulb in the world more closely simulates the filament size of an incandescent bulb more accurately than the Morimoto 2Stroke 3.0--and for those in the know, this is critical when it comes to proper beam distribution.
H11 Tension Spring: The H11/H9 version of the 2Stroke 3.0 has a particularly special bulb base that's spec'd with an OE-standard tension spring. This pushes the entire bulb base downward with 5nm of force, resulting in a bulb that's been properly seated according to the needs of optics. The tooling required to produce these parts alone was extremely expensive. You'll be hard pressed to find another brand who cares enough to make that kind of investment on this often-overlooked feature.
Optimized focal length: Each size in the 2Stroke 3.0 lineup has been painstakingly optimized for proper output in its designated application. The critical reference distance has been calculated based on the geometry of the bulb base and the footprint of the Osram HKL emitter. To ensure consistency, special tools were designed to quality-control the accuracy of each bulb as it comes off the production line. Most other LED fog light bulbs on the market use a 'set it and forget it' reference distance across all sizes in the series, which is not the case here.
360 degrees of Rotation: The 2Stroke 3.0 LED bulbs feature a fully adjustable base. In order to fully utilize the optical facets in any reflector or projector: The light emitting diodes must face the 3-o-clock and 9-o-clock positions. Since no single standard exists across different headlight and fog light assemblies, all bulbs in the 2Stroke 3.0 range are fully adjustable. A geared step rotational adjuster mechanism is installed for all bulbs which twist-to-lock, offering adjustability in 15-degree intervals. An omni-adjustable rotation mechanism is utilized on all bulbs that are press-fit or clip into the housing.
Thermal management: Once the bulb is installed, the high-speed fan contained within is completely sealed, making the 2Stroke 3.0 the first actively cooled LED bulb with a fan that's not susceptible to outside elements. Their unique internal circulation cooling system uses a 12,000-rpm cyclone fan to suck cool air into the body of the bulb and blow warm air out, back into the housing. On the intake side, cold air is sucked in past the sidewall of the PCB to exchange heat and is blown out the opposite side of the bulb. This effectively cools the bulb while warming the ambient temperature inside of the housing, increasing resistance to snow/ice buildup on the lens during the winter months. The cooling system on the 2Stroke 3.0 not only does it's job to protect the longevity of the bulb, but serves up a bad-weather benefit not found elsewhere.
DRL Drive: The LED Driver is configured to accept a wide range of input voltage, making them compatible with low voltage daytime running lights commonly found on modern vehicles. When the LED driver detects 6-9V of input: The system logic automatically switches to produce just 30% of the standard output. The low power drive rate of 250mA produces only 460lm per emitter and enables the 2Stroke 3.0 to produce a suitably low output volume as a daytime running light. In this mode, the cooling fan also shuts off to conserve power/lifespan. For vehicles with a PWM-based DRL signal, an inline PWM module that produces a clean DC6V will be required. The driver is completely potted, making it completely weather-proof. Note that the DRL-Drive function is only for use in non-US markets.

I recently bought these bulbs and coming from hids I was a little hesitant but I'm glad I did. The construction is top notch and the light output is amazing. I absolutely love these lights and would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade.
Better than my HID
I had yellowing lenses, so I replaced the housing and instead of using HID I went with Morimoto LEDs. This was by far the best decision I could make. Instant on and just as bright if not brighter than my HID when they were new. I would do it again and probably will soon with my other vehicles.

Lights fit my truck perfectly. Did need to get new boots for the low beams. They are awesome lights. Very bright. I have these paired with the morimoto fog lights and the high beams as well. Best decision made
Could be better
The light output on these is amazing, definitely worth the money. My issue is with the H1 bulbs specifically, the indexing bumps on the h1 halogen bulbs aren't present on the 2 stroke 2.0 bulbs so they dont make a good fit in the housing. Then the issue is the shape of the bulb behind the housing doesn't allow for the spring clip to work, perhaps there are housings that don't require modifications but mine took some creative ingenuity. Once the install was done I couldn't be happier with the lights but these issues are something I expect from Amazon bulbs not Morimoto.
I love these LED bulbs! They are super bright and clear! I cannot tell a difference between these and HID's in my Canyon Denali! I highly recommend these!
Great color and brightness
Installed on my 2013 Lexus RX350 main headlights. The cut is nice and the lights are brighter then the stock halogen. The bulbs fit perfectly and have a nice white with a little blue tint to them. I would recommend this to a friend.
Great 2nd Gen Tundra Upgrade
I purchased these lights on a Wednesday and they shipped that same day and arrived that Friday. The quick shipping was awesome, but the product is even better. I upgraded the lights in my 2012 Tundra with this kit and the High Beam kit as well. The light output is incredible, and the fitment and quality of the project is great too! I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a good quality LED bulb that doesn't want to break the bank.
Great light spread, very bright. 2016 Odyssey
I purchased 2 sets, 1 for the fogs and 1 for high beams. So far I have installed the fogs and the result was fantastic. Very noticeable difference in brightness as well as a slightly wider light spread/road coverage. My 2016 Odyssey touring Elite comes with HIDs from factory but the fogs and High beam bulbs are halogen. Just by adding these Morimoto LED fog light bulbs the difference was night and day.
Installation was a very easy with no problems and I have no flickering issues out of the box. No need to trim anything on the car or housing to make these fit.
Cant wait to install the high beams and test them.
Great Light output buy very loud.
The light output is amazing but the fans in them are extremely loud. They sound as bad as a Amazon led light when the fan is going out. There is alot of vibration so I am guessing the fans are not balanced well at all. To be honest I'm a bit disappointed about that.
Great plug'n'play for the 5th Gen 4Runner
Got these in and adjusted the aim before the weekend. Found a flat bit of ground near a wall at work. Headlights were at about 41" from the ground, so I aimed the cutoff just below 40" at twenty five feet. I'm very impressed with the improvement over stock and the "throw" is more than adequate (I'm reading that this is historically a weakness of LED replacement bulbs due to the inability of replicating a satisfactory filament-style beam pattern).
As a side note, I have a buddy at work who installed eBay LED bulbs into his Chevy Silverado (reflector housings). They're plenty bright but he said everyone keeps flashing him. We were pulled up in front of a tractor trailer and I showed him why- his beams were aimed too high and were a huge scatter of light all over. He might be able to re-aim these, but I don't think he'll ever get the sharp cutoff like a projector can. Just another reason to do research and get dedicated parts that are guaranteed to work- don't just get generics that "might" work.
I think this is the best drop-in setup available so far: a great combination of price, performance, and ease of installation. I was not interested in rigging up an HID install and then aiming them way down to avoid blinding folks.
