The King: It wasn't long ago that the XV2 from Philips was the brightest bulb on the market. No More! Osram's all-new Night Breaker Laser has taken the rank and recently tested to be the BRIGHTEST HID bulb currently on the market. Check out the Comparison Video we recently did on em, where Osram took the lead by about 20 lux.
"Laser": What makes them so amazing? The old Osram XNB (standard Night Breaker) was touted to have "Up to 70% more light output" compared to a standard bulb. The XNL Laser? 200%! Thanks to the most modern technology and some crafty physical changes Osram made to the focal position of the bulbs, they've really pulled out the stops on low beam performance!
Audience: So you're considering a fresh set of bulbs, are you? Well if you A) don't mind the price, B) wan't the brightest possible option, and C) don't really care much about cooler color temps in the 5-6000K range, then these are right for you. Put differently: They are for the dude whose serious about driving in all-weather conditions, doesn't give a shit about looking "cool", and only buys the best parts for their car.
Backed: Bottom line? We've always been Osram fan boys here at TRS, they've continued to up the performance from their product line every year, and as annoying as it is to continually update the catalog, we're blown away by the bump in output every time. Our hats are also off to Osram for maintaining focus on improving HID bulb tech even though it's technically "old news" by today's OEM standards. HID is King, and Osram is the King of HID.
Genuine: The Retrofit Source is proud to offer these bulbs in their original retail packaging from Osram. We pride ourselves on being one of the last few distributors shipping genuine Philips & Osram lamps in the US. It is estimated that 80% of these bulbs sold through outlets such as eBay or Amazon are fakes.
Trusted: For more than a decade, we've worked hard to earn our killer reputation. Car guys world-wide know that TRS carries the internet's best selection of high performance automotive and powersport lighting products at the best prices, and we've got the best, most knowledgeable team of real enthusiasts to help back it up. If we sell it, then you bet we've put it to the test on our own cars, trucks, and bikes. Need a recommendation on parts for your project? Got a tech question? Wholesale inquiry? Contact Us

Installed these in my 2015 GMC Yukon XL Denali. To my eye, I would estimate that these bulbs are 30-40% brighter and they put more light down the road compared to stock. I took some comparison pics and it looks like these bulbs produce a bigger hot spot at the focal point of the projector. Got them for 20% off during Christmas sale, nice easy upgrade.
I just replaced my 2,5 years old Morimoto XB HID 6500K D3S bulbs with the Xenarc Night Breaker Laser and it's pretty much night and day. Those are probably not comparable but anyways the difference in light output is HUGE. I live in Norway so high color temperature lights aren't the greatest on dark wet roads, which is the reason I picked the Night Breaker Laser.
To anyone that wants the best light output and doesn't care about high color temperature: These are the bulbs for you!
The color temperature is comparable to OEM HID bulbs on cars, but the light output on the Lasers is way better.
I recently got a 2013 B8.5 Audi S4 compared to the stock Philips bulbs that came with the car, these certainly are a big upgrade in brightness. No to mention the color is perfect for my situation as I live in rainy Seattle so I can see more of the road even when wet. I certainly recommend them for performance alone. That said the price of $200+ is pretty crazy. I would give them a 5 star if they were closer to a $100 or less.
I own a 2013 f150 with factory HID's. These bulbs mad a big difference for distance compared to the factory bulbs but the new bulbs we're not that much brighter than factory.
If you own a 07 and newer f150 the MORIMOTO XB fog lights make the biggest difference in light output.
If I was able to attach some before and after photos that would be great for you guys to see the difference of factory and and these HID bulbs
