Game Over: Morimoto has always been the benchmark when it came to the Mini H1...But no matter how many imitations popped up over the years, they just couldn't compare, and now it's most certainly too late to catch up. The 7.0 represents the most massive overhaul in Mini H1 history.
Lucky #7: Let's keep it simple and make a list of everything new about the 7.0. The optically clear lens. The 7-signed metal lens holder. The side-push bi-xenon solenoid mechanism. The die-cast radically curved cutoff shield. The foreground limiter. The reflector bowl. The IR, high-temp resistant reflector finish. The threaded shaft and it's precision and added length. The results! The beam is wider. The distribution of light more proper. Your ability to see is better.
Easy to Install: Now even easier to install with a longer threaded shaft compared to the 6.0! Their amazing ease of installation relative to the amount of performance they produce makes them our most popular projector. Simply remove headlight lens, insert the threaded mounting shaft through the pre-existing hole in the back of the reflector, hand-tighten, check rotation, tighten, and re-seal headlights. Minimal cutting involved. (if any!) Check out the Installation Procedure
Performance Shootout: With the most modern optics, an optically clear lens, and their curved cutoff shield; The 7.0 will outshine almost every OEM HID projector on the market and go head to head with the legendary S2000 projectors! (which cost 3x as much, are much harder to retrofit, and don't even have a high beam) Their wide, uniformly lit low beam stays intense all the way to the outer limits. Their bi-xenon high beam provides an insane amount of additonal light on demand.
Standard Equipped: With your choice of either Mini Gatling Gun or Mini Graphite shrouds to keep things compact and easy to assemble. Full size shrouds are also compatible with the Mini's using the centric rings.
Optional Precision Bulb Holders: Designed by Morimoto in California, the new MotoHo1der utilizes a three-piece design that's way more effective but virtually no bigger overall than the old clip setup. The clever three-piece design provides even pressure on the back of the bulb, ensuring perfect alignment. To be honest, we think it's the single best upgrade to the projector that's ever been conceived since it helps make the most of the awesome 7.0's on the road. Well worth the extra few bucks in the grand scheme of things!

Love these, perform amazingly. Only issue I have is the step is too aggressive so either I have to blind people in front of me through their side/rear mirrors or else I can't see anything to my left. Everything else is absolutely flawless, super worth it.
I think the build quality is much better compared to previous gens .
However , I think this cutoff shield design is sloppy .
It's not tight and does wiggle around and it's not that sharp . Hitting a few bumps in the road you can see the shield jiggling around . Not too happy with these mainly because of the shield design . Output is good ,but that cutoff isn't very sharp ....I might need to check my bulb seating or try different bulbs
Installed these in my 13 Durango. With some modifications to the low beam bowl they fit great. The output blows my 06 Dodge Ram's mini h1 5.0/6.0s out of the water. They throw every bit of light the morimoto hids put out. Im highly satisfied. I plan to purchase 2 more sets. One for the Durango high beams and another set for my 06 Ram.
Thie 7.0 minis are incredible. Pop them in and see what you've been missing! I did have to adjust them down because they really project. Worth the money. Don't skimp.
These are almost undescribable they are so good. Installation is easier than it sounds also. Now the good stuff. I drive 40+ minutes every morning in the dark on country highways in Indiana. I've tried better bulbs, and eBay hid's (which just make it harder to see). These are a game changer. It's like having on the best high beams you could think of, without blinding oncoming traffic and that's just your low beams. Switch on the highs and is like turning on the sun.
First retrofit, I used these to add HIDs to my Subaru 2.5RS. Very straightforward and included everything I need.
I can say that I've never been nervous or mildly fearful of being behind the wheel of a vehicle until driving this truck on a back road in Florida with the absurdly dim stock lights. It's hard to believe that Ford engineers walked away from the testing phase saying "Eh, that'll work".
I installed the Mini H1 w/ XB 5500k morimoto bulbs and I couldn't be happier with the results. The beam pattern is crisp and extremely bright. For those attempting retrofitting fx2 or Harley lights, the magic number for me was 265 degrees in the oven for 20 mins. The first one needed 40 total mins at 240 but the second one split open with minimal effort at 265 for 20.
I especially appreciate the prompt response time of the TRS staff. They are very knowledgable and know how to make customers want to come back again. Excellent products, exceptional customer service.
Upgraded from my Amazon, $40 projectors and I am 95% happy. The only two things I have to gripe about are:
-The $40 projectors had a thicker spread to the side, aka a better edge-of-the-road- visibility, these 7.0s are kinda thin.
-The Bi-Xenon shield is a "side-pull" instead of the center mounted ones on the older design projectors; this makes a weird high beam output, but still amazing.
Also, these fit 100% into my 9007 Low Beam hole on my Honda. No modifying at ALL!
Excellent kit , installed it on my 2013 kia optima , was an easy and quick installation , with very slight modifications.
Now the night lighting is amazing.
I will continue buying their products.
TRS thanks !!!
Best regards from Panama City
