Optics: The wider re-designed reflector bowl concentrates the hotspot directly under the step for intense performance but also plenty of width. The cutoff line is crisp, clean, and full of brilliant color flicker. Smaller projectors will struggle to compete with the Profile Bi-Lens D2S, as they will easily out shine smaller projectors like the Mini H1. Capable of producing both low and high beam patterns, this is the only unit you'd need to retain full functionality of your headlights.
Easy Install: Like the popular Mini H1's, the Profile Bi-Lens D2S shares the same threaded shaft design at the rear of the reflector bowl to ease installation, improve versatility, and rids the need to cut and glue the headlight reflector to mount the new projector in place – which nobody can argue against. The Bi-Lens D2S just bolts onto your reflector bowls and away you go to blast the streets with a ton of bright but controlled light.
Lens Options: The optional square lens, with it's modern shape is for those looking for something unique without compromising light output. Though the shroud options are more limited for the square lens, there are enough to keep your options open and build a badass retrofit for your truck (or car) with square-shaped reflectors. The projectors are also available with a more traditional 3” round lens, that will accept all shrouds. Both versions are 100% optically clear so there's no need for a further upgrade. There is no need for centric rings to mount shrouds either.
Compact: No other “full size” projector comes close to the compact geometry of the D2S Bi-Lens. Stripped down to no more material than what's essential, they are supremely small in terms of height, are very shallow, and no wider than need be. Their traditional 3” lens gives them a certain presence when mounted inside of the headlights – but if you're tight on space or simply want to avoid trimming / extra mods at all costs – then the Bi-Lens D2S is the way to go.
Ballasts: Why hasn't it been done before? We have no idea...because the Powerhouse ballasts are genius. Put simply: they'll deliver a steady 35W of power to your HID bulbs until you kick the high beams on, at which point they'll boost output to a more powerful 50W. Safety in the form of reliability and longevity. Super in terms of your ability to see well when you need it most. Powerhouse in terms of their eventual popularity thanks to their ability to deliver the best of both worlds, which just isn't possible with a dedicated 35W or 50W system.

Kit arrived quickly + complete. High quality components as usual from TRS. Had some install questions that they talked me through for a 2011 Tundra retrofit. Their YouTube channel has been helpful but I had to comb through it for what I needed. Wish there's was a vehicle-specific DIY for each kit so I didn't spend so much time figuring out how to do the job without mistakes, just like Crutchfield does for each car's make+model when you buy a car radio from them. Maybe TRS can create a wiki page where customers can post their car's year/make/model and how-to instructions versus posting it in some community forum that may not get found by others. Also wish there was an option to buy the high beam splitter to alert me that I'd need this as I didn't know until I got the whole thing hooked up, so the retrofit isn't completely done at the first try and now have to submit another order for that. I still give them 5 stars for being a great company to buy quality systems at excellent prices with solid customer service.
