Game Over: Morimoto has always been the benchmark when it came to the Mini H1...But no matter how many imitations popped up over the years, they just couldn't compare, and now it's most certainly too late to catch up. The 7.0 represents the most massive overhaul in Mini H1 history.

Lucky #7: Let's keep it simple and make a list of everything new about the 7.0. The optically clear lens. The 7-signed metal lens holder. The side-push bi-xenon solenoid mechanism. The die-cast radically curved cutoff shield. The foreground limiter. The reflector bowl. The IR, high-temp resistant reflector finish. The threaded shaft and it's precision and added length. The results! The beam is wider. The distribution of light more proper. Your ability to see is better.

Easy to Install: Now even easier to install with a longer threaded shaft compared to the 6.0! Their amazing ease of installation relative to the amount of performance they produce makes them our most popular projector. Simply remove headlight lens, insert the threaded mounting shaft through the pre-existing hole in the back of the reflector, hand-tighten, check rotation, tighten, and re-seal headlights. Minimal cutting involved. (if any!) Check out the Installation Procedure linked above.

Performance Shootout: With the most modern optics, an optically clear lens, and their curved cutoff shield; The 7.0 will outshine almost every OEM HID projector on the market and go head to head with the legendary S2000 projectors! (which cost 3x as much, are much harder to retrofit, and don't even have a high beam) Their wide, uniformly lit low beam stays intense all the way to the outer limits. Their bi-xenon high beam provides an insane amount of additonal light on demand.

Standard Equipped: With your choice of either Mini Gatling Gun or Mini Graphite shrouds to keep things compact and easy to assemble. Full size shrouds are also compatible with the Mini's using the centric rings.

Optional Precision Bulb Holders: Designed by Morimoto in California, the new MotoHo1der utilizes a three-piece design that's way more effective but virtually no bigger overall than the old clip setup. The clever three-piece design provides even pressure on the back of the bulb, ensuring perfect alignment. To be honest, we think it's the single best upgrade to the projector that's ever been conceived since it helps make the most of the awesome 7.0's on the road. New beetle retro fit

These, with some slight modification to the carrier unit, will fit within the foot print of the halogen projector inside the headlight housing. I was able to retain the stock hi beam as well. Aim was spot on and such an improvement over the oem halogen so called “light.” Hi beams are killer and low beam cut off is sharp. I am so please, I ordered another kit for another new beetle. For this you need the Morimoto h1 mini 7.0, XB 4300k h1 bulbs, HD relay H1, H3 harness, Morimoto XB 35w ballast and igniters, splitter (high beam) H1m to h1f to 9006. One does need to make some sheet metal brackets to recess the projector into the plastic carrier housing. The result is outstanding. It is like going from holding a candle before you to full on flood light.

Proyectan excelente la luz y se vé nítido, es otra cosa..solo que necesitas un buen instalador y además te ajuste bien el enfoque hacia la carretera. Compré con el mini gatling gun esto es necesario. Los hid kit y demás puedes conseguirlos tambien en autolabpanama .Honda City 2013

I've used these to retrofit my Lightning, Cobra, Thunderbird, Ranger and my Denali.

I've toyed with the ebay specials and compared them...and there is no comparison. Spend the money and get actual Morimoto quality and not Chinese mass produced junk.

I've been a regular customer of TRS for years now and have seen the evolution of this product. I've personally owned almost every single revision of these lights and they continue to out-do themselves in terms of quality and performance. The Morimoto H1 has become the industry standard in projector retrofit options in my opinion!

The output from mini H1 is so great that can be said it is better than oem projectors. The downside is that the cutoff is too steep..should be small angle like lexus projectors.

Almost Perfect! Cutoff Problem!

Light output is great! Only the downside is the cutoff problem because the cutoff is way too steep which make me hard to predict the road that above the right cutoff (Malaysia). (My Opinion) Hope it can take the Hella's Projectors or Lexus's projectors as a reference. ECE cutoff pattern is the way for efficient output on the road while DOT is for shining on the wall. Morimoto can try to make dotted clear lens in order to avoid sharp cutoff between dark and bright area that make driver's eyes strained. Dotted clear lens are more comfortable to our eyes.
