I just installed these 35w 6k bulbs on Audi A4 that uses a H7 bulb/projector setup from factory. All I have to say is wow HUGE MEGA difference in light output from DDM "cheap-o" burners that I had before. First off, the old H7 bulbs had plastic ring around the bulb to sit securely into the projector, the new ones come with metal factory style ring which I like. The new H7 bulbs have a shorter bulb length then old ones I had which correlates why they have factory light output compared to ddm ones. I noticed driving home, my true test coming from NYC that the cut off was more crisp for retrofit, and there was almost no glare. This makes me really happy because I was almost considering swapping my stock American Audi projector lamps for D2S after market lamps. These bulbs definitely help me keep these lamps because now the light output is not blinding other people driving in the opposite direction. Even if these bulbs burn out from my 55w ballast in less than 3yrs I would still buy them because of all the pros they have. Thanks TRS!!!

Great kit. Picked up this newest version of their HID kit to replace the failing DDM ballasts I was using with my Morimoto projectors. The ballasts are small, well made, silent and have a great integrated mounting system. Super secure and easy to fit anyway. The harness is great; MUCH better than the old TRS harness with the plastic relay. High beam worked immediately with this kit, whereas it never worked with the older relay, no matter what wire arrangements I tried. Sheathing is top notch, looks very professional, much better than loom. Bulbs are much brighter than the junk DDM 4300k bulbs I was using. The 5000k TRS bulbs are far brighter and whiter! They also included a few random Weatherpack connectors in the box, which is great because I needed one to replace a high beam solenoid connector. Welcome surprise! Only 3 minor gripes. 1)The harness is a little short for trucks; it barely reached across the front of my 03 Tundra, and forced me to relocate the ballasts since it was too short to go where the old ones were. Didn't want to ruin the pretty sheathing splicing. 2) The locking studs on the bulbs are SUPER fragile. Even using the most gingerly touch, I managed to snap one off the first bulb. A shot of teflon spray in the D2S connector made the second one go on easily. Wish the bulbs had 4 locking studs; you can get by with only 1, but if that one fails, you're SOL. 3) Finally, I wish the ground wires for the ballasts were integrated into the sheathing that ran to my aux fuse box/battery, like the old harness. Makes for a cleaner install. Still the absolute best kit on the market, well worth the price, and gets better with every new iteration.

I bought this set for my 2011 Mazda3, and i couldn't be happier with it. The light output is great, and install was a whole lot easier than i thought it would be. I also just had a ballast go out on me 6 months after I installed the set, and TRS shipped out a new ballast right away. New Morimoto xbALed look not as good as on picture. New design is good for mounting inside shrouds. But if you mount rings on top of shrouds, soldering point can be shorted by metalized coating of shroud, so you have to isolate them with small tape. Overall quality is far from be perfect. I've received pair of rings and both have noticeable dents on top cover. Also rings have slightly different emission color.

I ordered the 9006: Morimoto Elite HID System and unfortunately had not had the chance to install them on my car by myself but, I took it to an aftermarket shop and when they were installed It looked amazing. I have to tell you, the quality is just ridiculously good. It is very bright, even without specific Xenon projectors the flicker is very sexy at startup. I have a 2008 Honda Accord V6 EX-L 4 Door and the 5000K temperature goes along extremely well with my car. I would also like to buy these HID's for my fog lights but they are a little out of my price range so I will wait. DO NOT get eBay crap, in my opinion, Morimoto is the best HID company out there. For this price, and the 5 year warranty that they offer, this kit is just unbeatable. Overall, this kit looks sexy on my 2008 Honda Accord and if I can get a good discount for another pair of these lights from TheRetroFitSource I'll buy myself another pair. Been using the Morimoto 4300k for the past couple of years (was on a budget), they're nice and white now and lost some output. I was getting tired of other car's lights drowning out mine so I forked up the extra $$$ for these SVS. These are by far the brightest HID bulbs I've used (35watt). I've used Phillips in the past and these SVS seems brighter than those too. Maybe I was too used to my old color shifted Mori's but these SVS are so yellow in comparison, seems more yellow than the Phillips too. However, after a few hours of usage it's seems a lot whiter now and light output is amazing. Will be sticking with these when I need new ones again!

Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (D2S) in a 2010 Camaro (Non-RS). The kit is a great product to upgrade from those ugly yellow-looking factory halogen lights. I have just installed the kit in my headlights with very minimum cutting. I have installed it with amber XBaled AE and the whole kit looks awesome. I had previously upgraded to the HID kit into the headlight but with the retrofit the cut off line takes it to a whole new different level plus the high beam capability is no match to compare. I recommend TRS products, the customer service and technical support was excellent. I broke a part during installation and they did replaced it in no time for free. Bought an H11 6000K kit for the fogs on my IS-F. Matches the 5000k bulbs in the projectors as low beams. The relay kit is awesome. No false starts, tiny ballasts makes it easier to hide/mount it. Bulbs take a while to warm up to true color though. Sits in a blu-ish mode for about 30 seconds.

I am amazed at the output; definite upgrade from factory. These seem literally twice as bright to me over the 4300K stock bulbs. I ran three different sets of 6000K on various cars preferred the blue-purple-ish look. I was a little hesitant to go with the 5000Ks as recommended by customer service at TRS as these are known for a super white light with little to no blue. I could not be more satisfied!!! The illumination is unbelievable and I like how much I can see. Sacrificing the 6000K look to see more has been well worth it so far....

Just put a 35w 5k kit on a 2013 Altima, greatly improved visibility. The h11 bulbs are so dim, now the lights are brighter but the oem projectors aren't that great but that's Nissan's issue not TRS/Morimoto. The ballasts feel SOLID, that's what immediately jumped out to me, their construction. Warm up time is about the same as other aftermarket kits. They are incredibly silent too. For whatever reason I needed to run the HD harness because without them the ballasts would not fire. Not sure if the ballast require it or if the Altima's electrical system simply doesn't supply the initial power to turn them on. I will purchase more kits off TRS once my old Banbo kits finally take a dump in my other cars.

Seriously? "Clear" lenses for fifty bucks? I was skeptical, but let me do some research. Hmm...ok, spectacular reviews. Still skeptical. Whatever, I'll bite. Once I received shipment I can tell there's a noticeable difference from the stock lenses to the clear ones just by inspecting with the naked eye under a lamp. These lenses are..well best word to describe them would be clear. Installed and I was shocked. WOW is all I can say. I was blown away by the difference. After installing my output has a brighter color, my cut off is sharper and my range is extended. This is worth the upgrade for any OEM projector. Installed in a 7th generation '12 Camry.

After doing lots of research on TRS's site, I decided to purchase the 9008/H13 HID system. I had a few tech questions when I ordered. The staff explained every question thoroughly, and even offered alternate solutions. Install went as planned, and was very strait forward. You can download directions for instal from TRS's site, but there's really no need. The only part I would change would be making the harness about a foot longer, but it works fine as is. The change was incredible. I chose 55 watt ballasts with 5000k bulbs. It's a pure white light that's super bright. I installed in a 2012 Ford Raptor, and wanted to keep the stock headlights. I'm very impressed with the HID system, and with TRS's customer service and tech.

I recently purchased a H11 HID kit from TRS. It was fairly easy to setup, just finding mounting positions on my car was the only issue; When I set it up, the longer wire on the harness seemed to not be working. After troubleshooting and constacting TRS support and a little more troubleshooting, the issue could not be resolved. TRS is sending a replacement harness to resolve the issue TRS really does have THE best customer service I've dealt with in.... ANYTHING, online or in person. I'd recommend this to my grandmother.

Haven't really had the chance to test them before this weekend.. omg! the light output is so intense... very easy to fit and just had to adjust them!!! Purchased the Mini H1 kit and retrofitted my 2004 Honda Civic. The retrofit was fairly easy, my only problem was working with an aftermarket headlight and the adjuster kept popping out, requiring me to open the headlight 3 times. I would not suggest the E55-R shroud for a 04-05 civic. It does not cover enough of the projector and the shroud comes very close to the front lens. One of my headlights had the projector shroud touching. Other than that, love the kit. Great upgrade to my Civic.

The install went fairly smooth. Things to be prepared for are testing the functionality of the projector BEFORE installing. In fact, check everything to make sure it works. I did not do this and after the install I find that one of the projectors gets stuck on high beam. Research HIDPlanet or call TRS on how to correct this. Not sure if projector is supposed to come with mounting hardware. Mine did not. I had to drill out the bracket to fit 4mm x 25.4mm screws. Even then the mounting of the projector was still awkward. The top holes don't allow for a nylock nut, so a washer and nylock nut were used to synch down against the body of the projector. After a week of driving they haven't moved (I have not removed the tape for the light profile). The bottom holes were easily accessible and had plenty of room for hardware. I received an extra plug not attached to the wiring harness. Not sure what it is for, but I didn't need it. The OE low beam plug on the passenger side will remain unused. Recommendation is fill the contacts with dielectric grease and zip tie a plastic bag over it. The customer service is awesome and the product is nice. A printed install guide or a labeled harness would be nice. Youtube sucks to use without wifi and/or a computer. The install will take time, but in the end the results are phenomenal. I knocked a star off for lack of description about what hardware to use or how to properly mount the projector to the housing.

I'm from Italy, I could buy a common HID kit sold here and receive it in 2 days. I tried and bought a Morimoto HID system instead, waited 10 days (we are talking of thousands of Km, custom's control etc..) and it was the right choise! Compared to common kit you can find here, this system looks like an OEM xenon! It reaches full luminosity much faster and is clearly brighter. I needed just some adjustment to the base of the bulbs, but that's is my car's fault. Great material, exceptional customer service, the package was perfect, I have never seen a package so well protected! I will recommend you for sure!

Super impressed withe the overall build quality and the performance of the products. Worth every penny paid. They TRS guys where amazing on the phone. This is a great example of you get what you pay for. Sharp cut off. Great side beam. The high beam is absolutely amazing. Installed on my Audi S4 2004 avant. Used the audi B5 template on audizine. Worked great. Only real issue I had was the wire coating started to flake off from being 10 years old. However, that was in no way related to the product from TRS but an issue with the affects of a car sitting in the texas sun for 10 years.

Just installed my Six.0 projectors w/5000 kelvin 3Five bulbs and have to say that I absolutely LOVE the setup. There were a few hangups, install time in my 2004 Accord was 7 hours nonstop from start to finish. This was my first retro, and while not for a beginner, it wasn't 'hard'. Output is amazing and I love the immediate response of the high beam solenoid. The reason it didn't get 5 stars is the fit and finish of the connectors (9006 wiring harness). I had to mess with more than a few for a few minutes to get them to plug in, and the headlight splitters are too short to reach from the low beam socket to the solenoid leads, however I don't even want halogen high beams anymore.....that says something about the output on these things. Would definitely buy again.

This was my first projector retrofit, and I couldn't have been happier with the results. I found the need for projectors, as I recently moved from California to Alabama, and I realized I needed to be able to see on those unlit southern roads at night. The entire project took about seven hours, but those hours were well spent. I chose the 5000k bulb, because I wanted a pure white light. The Morimoto Mini H1 projectors deliver a very clean cut off and give me the desirable flicker effect. They allow me to see much further ahead on the road than halogens. I would highly recommend doing the retrofit to anyone who is sitting on the fence. My only regret is buying the Morimoto Mini H1 5.0's, when the 6.0's came out the week after my installation!

I have been using TRS for the past couple years for all my retrofitting needs. I have performed multiple MH1 and MD2S retros and with all parts provided from TRS the quality has been nothing but A+. When it comes to customer service and advanced technical questions they take the time and will go out of their way to make sure you are a happy customer. The resources they provide are very informative and can answer almost any question you may have (I found their youtube channel very informative as well) I have find retrofitting more of a hobby now then just having nice performance lighting. Although these shrouds are very large, they cover a lot of space which was perfect for my TL projectors. I also mounted the 100mm XBA inside and the 90mm for the turn turn signal on the exterior for a truly unique look. Personally I think that there is enough room to fit the 110mm XBA, because the 100mm has a lot of room. A bigger halo would fit better I think. Overall these things are awesome! No one better than TRS!

Found a lot of good reviews about this site so I decided to purchase the H7 elite kit for my base model Mazda RX-8. Wow I was shocked at how simple the installation was and how good the kit is built. Anyone who has a base model RX-8 or non GT has got to get this kit. No need to remove the bumper just remove each tire to get behind the headlights. Plug and play. I love how bright the 5000k @ 50w kit is. Amazing. I no longer have to worry about pot holes or rabbits on the road. I will highly recommended this kit. Thanks rtf for making my 8 look even better

I didnt have to do ANY modification to the relay harness for highbeam function which was great. Everything is labled with great quality parts and supplied with everything you need for install. Highly reccomend!
