H7: Morimoto Elite HID System
Since their debut in 2011, the Morimoto Elite Systems have earned their reputation amongst many as the aftermarket's best HID kit. We urge you to check out their spec's below, Read the Reviews, Google "Morimoto Elite", and then decide for yourself. We're sure proud of it!
The 'Moto 3Five H7 bulbs feature: Ceramic bases for precise alignment giving you a clean beam pattern. Quartz glass tubes to minimize UV output and maximizing luminosity. Their Praxair (US) metal halide salts produce very accurate color temperatures (3K/43K/5K/6K)
The 'Moto ballasts feature: Compact, clutter-free design with integrated igniters. Completely weatherproof body & potted internals. Braided tech-flex insulated high voltage line enhances durability and looks, the interior lining prevents EMI interference. Laser etched graphics, aluminum fittings & mounting hardware. "SS" (SpeedStart technology) greatly enhances bulb warm-up speed without artificially high start amperage, now comes standard as of July 2012.
The 'Moto Heavy Duty Relay Wire harness features: Independent 40amp relays with LED indicator lights. Corrosion resistant ceramic fittings are rubber coated throughout. 14 gauge stranded copper wire protected by durable black tech-flex mesh looks like a factory harness when installed. Designed to be completely plug n play.
The optional Standalone Can-Bus harness replaces the relayed battery harness with two individual sub harnesses. Recommended for vehicles that recognize when a bulb is out, these contain a series of capacitors and resistors to trick the car into thinking nothing has changed and help you avoid annoying "bulb out" warnings. Great for many modern Euro applications
Let's not forget the 5-year warranty on the entire kit. The Morimoto Elite system is designed to run for 2500 hours, so that's what it's guaranteed for. Don't let vendors with their BS "lifetime" warranties fool you into thinking you're buying something well-made with that lame excuse. (no HID's will last you a lifetime, and if you think that company will be around forever anyways let alone pick up the phone when you have a problem, think again).

This is the BEST HID LIGHT in the market. Its worth spending $150 for the Kit. I had used kits from ebay and the bulb or sometimes ballast kept blowing every 2-3 months. I have installed Morimotto H7 6000K and it produce bright and white little hint of blue. Friends you should purchase this kit. The ballast and bulbs are high quality plus the cables are nice and thick

I'm from Italy, I could buy a common HID kit sold here and receive it in 2 days. I tried and bought a Morimoto HID system instead, waited 10 days (we are talking of thousands of Km, custom's control etc..) and it was the right choise! Compared to common kit you can find here, this system looks like an OEM xenon! It reaches full luminosity much faster and is clearly brighter.
I needed just some adjustment to the base of the bulbs, but that's is my car's fault. Great material, exceptional customer service, the package was perfect, I have never seen a package so well protected! I will recommend you for sure!

I got it last week. Installation is easy, however it took me a while to figure out how to use original bulb holder to put it in place. Everything is so far so good. Recommended.

This is an amazing kit. I have had a couple previous experiences with HID kits (both purchased from eBay) and these simply blow them away. I got the 5000K and I love the color, they are just WHITE (diamond white), no yellow or blue tint to the light. I put them in my 2004 Mazda 3 which had stock halogens. I modified the cutoff and added the TRS Mazda 3" clear lenses with the provided spacers. The result: a great cutoff line with an amazing blue flicker. They look better than the OEM Mazda HIDs (and most other OEM as well). The relays are nice too, they illuminate with a red LED when on, however because of this the trigger leads (85 86) are not reversible, so some applications may have issues. The ballasts have a slight buzz to them while warming up but then are completely silent. They aren't small but they feel solid and well built. The wiring harness is top notch and will look great in your car - none of that cheap plastic wrap other kits use. Buy the TRS kit you won't be sorry.

POSITIVES: Probably the best aftermarket kit I’ve seen in a long time, high quality product, not cheap overseas crap, comparable to OEM kits for $1000 plus dollars..for only 150! 35W or 50W?, 35W is more than enough, my lows are blinding, the light output from this kit is really good. You keep seeing 50W kits all over the place and a lot of negative feedback of too much start up power required or fuses getting blown if relays are not used etc. (my opinion, if it works for you great, my point being if you get a high quality 35W kit you will not be dissatisfied and less stress on your electrical system) Color on the 5000K was great, super bright white with a lil blue/violet color on the edge of the beam patter (similar to MBenz/Lexus). The ballast, great (solid heavy duty construction with the ignitor/inverter included in one unit). Bulbs were plug and play with all equipment included and great tech support. The wire harness included is probably the beefiest one out there. 5 year warranty, pretty good considering the quality. I have seen lifetime warranties for the overseas cheap kits but….I get the idea you may get crap back in the mail or the companies that sell them will remove their ebay pages in the next 6 months.
Super Fast Shipping:Ordered the kit on Saturday morning and had it Monday, and he (Andrew) included a 5% military discount. Tech support is great, they always answer the phone on the first few rings (I had too many questions)
Negatives: With all good things of course there are negatives. TRS’s speciality is retrofitting cars and now that I know they are in the market I’ll use them on all of my autos. Anyways, the ballasts are bigger than your slim motorcycle ballasts I wanted to do my high and lows but there is no way I will be able to fit 2 more of their ballasts under my windscreen (If any has used another location please let me know). The ballasts are not huge by any means (much smaller than older ones I used on my car 5 years ago) but they are not credit card thin either. They are short but a few inches thick. They are ONE unit though ballast/ignitor/wiring all in one place not like the new digital or thin ballast that have another unit(ignitor/inverter) coming off of them and now I need to find to places to hide 2 things. They are also about 3 times heavier than a “good Ballast” that is currently on the market, which I feel goes to a testament that the quality is superb. Also waterproof. The 2 I fit behind my speedo were not hard to put back there. The wiring is also thick but again its not a cheap import.
The relay harness: Super beefy. Thats great but bike riders want/need small and those are opposites. You can fit the relay harness but you may have to spend a few minutes mod’ing it for the pass through or shortening some of the wires. It does fit though just a little bit of a pain. I ended up putting it on the shelf because I have not had any start up problems or flickering with my lights. (Not to insult anyone but the relay kit is ensuring the bulbs have good start up power to eliminate any power changes not to keep your bikes electrical from frying)……so I’ll continue to run it without until it is needed. Hope this helps. All in all I can’t say enough good things about this kit, super easy install, only real downside is if you wanted all 4 lights to be HID probably not going to happen (at least not easily). They also sent me corner daytime running LEDs that matched the 5000K for an extra 15 bucks. I used to drive with my OEM highs and lows on but the HID lows are already brighter than both together. Hope this helps.
In the end I couldn’t find a better kit out there for the money, and trust me I’ve been looking and buying HID kits…..for years

Just ordered and installed these and they are amazing. I have a perfect cutoff and no stray light. They throw very far without throwing into people's faces. Now I just need some clear lenses and I will be set. Order these and do it right. The nice thing about these is they are adaptable to a D2S bulb due to the standard AMP connector. They can be expanded to utilize one of TRS's full retrofits which I will be doing in the future.
One caveat about these ballasts: DO NOT USE THE MOUNTING BRACKETS. Mine were WAY off alignment with the mounting holes. The slot in the bracket did not get cut far enough and the holes were way too small for the provided screws. After I enlarged the holes and extending the slot, the provided screws proceeded to strip out the threads on the ballasts. Not a good time with that part of the project. Just use some 3M foam tape. I used molding tape and it worked out pleasantly. Clearly this bracket is not meant to be used. Foam tape should come with this instead of this crap bracket. I contemplated taking a star off for this but decided against it due to the performance of this kit.
