As good as the reviews say they are. I have a 2009 GTI with OEM HID. I just switched out my original 85122's to the 85122+'s, after my dying right headlight had finally begun to color shift to purple/pink. The 85122+'s have more light output than I ever remember my originals having. Cutoff is excellent and dark wet roads are now lit up better than ever before! I highly recommend spending the $95 for these bulbs, for the quality, fit and output.

Worth the money for sure! just installed these on my retrofit because the ones that came with the kit were extremely cheap (horrible beam width, cutoff was all over the place, colour was brutally blue!) and i couldnt be happier!
cutoff is now perfect, nice whitish yellow output with a blue cutoff, work VERY well with FX-Rs.
if you want the best, get these things. save your money and stay away from ebay crap

As others have mentioned, these have fantastic output. Don't be fooled by cheap generic bulbs, they have poor salt mixtures and the quality of the glass tubes cannot compare to that of a German made bulb. The 85122+ is worth every penny.

Do you want bright? Do you want visibility? Do you want a sharp cutoff? No, these are not those fancy 'blue' types, but I prefer being able to see Bambi as he starts running out onto the highway.
Buy these... you will NOT be disappointed (MUCH better than the crap bulbs I had before).

Wow, thank you. We have a 1998 Audi A6 with factory HID's and have been utterly frustrated with their poor light output. Purchased a set of "lightly" used 85122+ bulbs and what a difference. Light output is significantly increased (I would have to guess based on upgrades I have done in the past the original bulbs were outputting 50-75% of original) and the color is much whiter (i.e. less blue). The lights actually work well now and have much better color renditioning.
Props goes to getting these shipped the same day and arriving all the way in California via express mail in 2 days from the order.

Quick and simple. you enjoy sharp cutoff's? bright lights? want the best you can get..? this is it!.... stupid bright bulbs.. just amazing... im running this on a regular 35w ballast and its still amazing..
